WISN 12 news. They were returning home after circling around the location of a body found in the Pike River where I've hiked many times. Yikes. Don't like that at all.

Just wanted to update this. It was not a murder. That was my initial worry as someone who's been there a lot.

Some lady had her unleashed dog running around the prairie today and it scared the turkey away.

But after she left a few cranes circled over.

Took my dad to Wilmot Raceway last night for Father's Day. It was our first time going to a dirt track. It was a blast and it's amazing how cheap it is to get in! They had 410 Sprints, Wingless Sprints, Street Stocks, and Bandits. I will absolutely be going back at some point.

Hiding from the heat. Walked the pups, 9, three shifts, mowed the grass, pulled some hornwort. Starting at 530am, in the house by 9.

Hoping it stops raining as they say but other than that I shall still be out there walking my life away. I could use some of your heat @addy1 but will pass on high humidity

Also minimizing our time outdoors here. 90's yesterday, same today + storms. The dogs still expect an outing so I hose them off before we go - at least their feet and bellies.
Any yardwork will have to wait till the sun sets.

Not feeling good so not doing much today. But I did see some cool aircraft fly over.

They had music night in the new park so I went over and checked it out for a bit. This is the park I've shared photos from a few times this year, usually of the nature in and around the pond. The barn swallow photos from yesterday also came from this park.

Watching all the military activity over my house today. As you can imagine, living in southeastern Wisconsin, there's a lot going on today, and probably all week.

I can't believe I got to see this. I saw actual aerial refueling over my house!! KC-135 and F-35. I'm in awe. I was shaking trying to get the photo because I knew it could be the only time I ever see this in my lifetime.

The F-35 has made four or five passes so far.

The KC-135 was also making passes before the refueling.

And a UH-60 Blackhawk. This is the one that's watching over Milwaukee today.
