Whatcha doing today?

It's a horrible photo, but the streak at the bottom is one of the starlink satellites. I finally got to see the satellite train tonight.

I saw it a couple of nights ago and was wondering what it was. It was right after sunset and on a night of full moon, so at first I thought it was just a contrail lit up by the moon. But it became far too bright for that. So after it passed the horizon I came in and googled
" אורות מוזרות בשמי הארץ" and sure enough, it was reported in the news.

I've been camping the past few days. Like usual, I'll share some of my photos once I've gone through them all.

I can count on one hand the remaining items that need attention on the pond . The huney due list is growing smaller and smaller

I had a fantastic sighting of them. Unreal! Of course didn't have a camera.

Today sitting on the boat, finish washing it today, beautiful weather. Walked to Carr Beach, historic beach, all black in the past, beauty contests, concerts, swimming lessons, abandoned now. Chesapeake bridge in the distance.

Flowering trees all around, they smell so sweet!

I have given more and more thought to building ponds.
Not one person comes here who doesn't take pictures and a video.

Staying inside for the next few days. Saying to wear masks if you go outside due to the smoke from Canada. Looks like a fog outside.
And so dry. We need some rain to clean the air.
