Some more things I've made recently. I think I'm about done with painting and craft making for the year so these might be the last ones.

You have some hours tied up in all those. Not enough time in a day and work 10 or 12 hour days . don't know how you find all that time

As it turned out, I lied on my last post. I'm not done painting! and I'm glad I'm not! Without question, this is the best one I've made. It's not perfect, but it's along way from where I was years ago. I might have to buy more of these small canvases in the future.

EDIT: If you're curious, below is my first ever painting four years ago. I all but gave up on trying scenery painting after that. I didn't like it and didn't think I could improve - or at least didn't want to put in the time and effort to improve. I'm glad I tried more this year.

I got the World of Outlaws dirt racing game for Christmas. It's too much fun, so I've been playing it quite a bit the past couple days. There's a bunch of different dirt racing series and tracks. I've been buying games from this company for years and they've improved so much in just the last couple years.

On the topic of racing and christmas gifts, I also got this 1987 Dale Earnhardt Monte Carlo diecast.

Learned to keep an eye on ponds during a freeze. The small hole I had drilled to break the vacuum in my bog sprayed out, froze and could have been a problem. Also, caught this just after it happened, ice formed from bog out flow broke loose and the water hitting it was spraying outside the pond. We caught both because of cameras!

Hubby in Florida with his son, perfect time to strip clean the bedroom, repaint, toss junk.
What does it matter if he is home or not, " unhappy Wife = ONE UNHAPPY LIFE "

Well he a napper, he, if here, would say not necessary! it is easier to totally rip apart when no distraction is around.

And I started out just cleaning the bdrm.....then decided to paint one wall, then decided to rip it apart! Paint all the walls. One of those ripple projects.

He has never told me no!

I do all that stuff that I want to get done when my hubby is away too! No fuss no muss, looks great when done and if he doesn't like it he can un-do it all and of course he is never motivated to do that!
A man's house may be his castle but it takes a Queen to get a lot of things done so the castle stays clean and nice and tidy.
That's also when I add all the new trees to the property
