Going logging today! Many rounds to cut up from fallen Maple trees. This is the end of the job. We already took home two other tree loads!

Pretty excited to get my Darrell Waltrip #88 Monte Carlo today. It's a Gen 2 NASCAR Cup series car, and the one I got for Christmas is a gen 3 Cup series car. Now I've got a car from every Cup car generation except the fifth.

Fun fact, these are also two of my all-time favorite paint schemes.

funny how a tree out there covered in moss is a dime a dozen. to me there are found treasures which has been my latest focus around the pond. More to come

Went ahead and ordered the last diecast I needed for my "Seven Generations of NASCAR" collection I was putting together and it arrived today. Now I have one car from each of the seven Cup series stock car generations, as well as an Xfinity Series car and Truck Series truck.

I was unfortunately given the option to have a pile of granite cobble stone pavers 8x12X2.5 -250 of them. Unfortunately they were not on a pallet so it was emanual loading and unloading. So while my latest project of installing a gas insert into are over sized fire place is nearing completion. My next project has just surfaced, SIGHHHHHHHHH....

I see a group of five or six of these guys flying by every now and then over the shore and a little ways out over the Gulf of Mexico. They are so cool!

The Gen 1 and 2 are the most distinctive and also my favorite.

I think my favorite are the gen 3's, specifically the gen 3 Monte Carlo. After that, it's a toss up between gen 2 and 7 for me. Gen 5's were the ugliest, but that's also when I became a NASCAR fan, so I have a soft spot for them.
