It was funny how it worked out. I had paid just over $100 for his Muck boots. He needed bigger size, but wanted the much more expensive style. He got me two Under Armor sweatshirts, they were both on sale before Christmas, but one never came in, still on back order. He returned one, and got the other cancelled. So, the two UA shirts I got were right at $99 tax included, so I bought those to replace the $106 credit for his boots, since he said he'd pay the extra on the boots. Then I got a $20 cert for my order on next order, which I promptly gave to him. We both got "employee discount", which didn't matter on my purchase, already on sale, but did BIG TIME on his order. His boots alone started out at $190, and he got them, UA long underwear ($85 reg price) and a calendar, all for less than the boots themselves. Score! AND, he got another $20 off on next order, which he was going to use to buy the UA long underwear top (they were out of them, but said he could order on-line), so with the employee discount, that will be $63, less $20 .... SCORE double!!! Yep, I love getting good deals like this. Gift cards are the way to go, especially if people wait until after New Years, it seems.
