I have lots of them on the one side yard that I did not treat with milky spore .I ran over them with the lawn mower with the water filled roller to mush them down .Hard to walk out there with out twisting your ankle .The ground is wet from the rain the other day and with the warm temps it was easy .

Freezing cold again at one whole degree Fahrenheit! Snuggled my Rio babe , like I do every night, now I think I birthed her!! She snuggles so close when it is cold and I just love that little sweet babe! Rio has been farting out turkey smells all night again, so tiny but she is growing up so quick that half her cloths are too small now!

My dogs are only in the fenced part and that part they cannot get too .Plus i don't want a mole gift .I tripped a couple of those times because of the mole tunnels so time to do them in .There are plenty of places for them to tunnel outside of my yard .They can go tunnel in the cow pasture .Cow poo is free

They are afraid of them ,that is why I had to treat the back yard .King Arthur pulled one of the ground and pee wee and puddles would not go out in the yard. The king tried to bring it in the house ,YUCK .I did a you tube video of my pond but puter will not let me bring it over to here I tried several times .Sissy's pond and pond with a view are on there and a couple of others .I need a new puter but have gotten used to this ones quirks

As of today I would say she is very close now to 5 pounds. She suddenly has been on a big growth spurt and her legs are much longer now. I think she could get as big as ten pounds, but hubby says she will get twice that. All I can say is that she is noticeably bigger than her sisters now.

Since we are all obsessed (that's what my mom from AZ says about me) with the weather, thought I would start a thread so we could post what the weather is like in our neck of the woods. This winter has sure had some mild weather across the US. Yesterday I sat and admired my fish many times, it drew me outside. The pond water was 46 degrees at the surface.
This morning, the fog has rolled in, it's 31 degrees, and the moisture on my deck is ice. I'm concerned about black ice on the roads, so will be leaving for work early. Still supposed to be above normal in temps (40's for highs and 30 for lows) the next 10 days, and mostly sunshine. Who could ask for more for February?
The weather in Northeast Indiana have been really nice for this time of the year (lows around 20 degrees F, and highs around 45 degrees F). The Koi are doing well so far this winter. I walk out everyday to check on them, and they are just chilling down near the bottom of the pond.
