It is raining really hard right now. Probably more rain than we have had in the last month combined. I think it was like the 31st day in the 90's so far this year. The AC repairman are getting rich!

Our heat pump ac cycles until 10 then it runs non stop until night. We where at 122 heat index yesterday then a storm came in................YIPPEE dropped to 71 and dropped 0.40 inches of rain in 15 minutes, dropping in low to mid 80's this weekend. Finally can head outside later than 10 am.

Good to here you got some nice rain, but I heard on the news that half the states is in a drought, too bad! Must be very hard to be a farmer right now! I remember lots of summers here where we had no rain for all of July! To tell you the truth, I always thought the grass here was programed to die of naturally in July, this is the first year that I can remember the grass on the hills being green so late in July, just plan strange, even my husband made a comment about the green hills being weird.

your in Ireland colleen the storms you had floated you there and now you will need to get your hubby a green suit ,cane and top hat .You need a plaid skirt and knee high socks .Rain only last 15 minutes but it is better than nothing .

Used to be in the army for 12 years, met lots of Calgary Highlanders back in the day, they dinna wear nothin under ye kilt, and ye dinna ever call it a skirt lassie! Ha ha

Yeh and when the wind blows everything shows :razz: :razz: :razz: a skirt is a skirt and a kilt is a skirt no matter how it is made and what sex wears it .

Radio said moisture coming from the states, combined with a low from BC, should create a "disturbance" in the upper atmosphere, so will enjoy the sun now until the Thunder booomers show up tomorrow!
