I haven't been on for a while, so I thought I would check in. I made a underwater video this August of my pond during feeding time.

. I took it with my iphone but that phone got ruined and I wasn't sure how to get the video off of it so its the best I got. Just bear with me for the first 20 seconds. It gets still and calm I promise. Its about 3 mins long and the only filter I have is the bog. Thanks Addy.

I really liked the red and white fish with black tail, and the black fish with red on top of it's head, and white on the head! Very neat patterns. Beautiful fish, and I sure loved watching the video, Ryan. Sorry about your phone, but glad you were able to download the video from it!

Ryan I dropped my old phone in pond too, but Sissy and others here told me to put in in rice, and in freezer, and I first put it in freezer, then it started to work again, but was cutting out so I dried it some more in the freezer and in rice, and then it worked all good again!! Hope you did not throw it out cause sometimes they can work again after a while of sitting and drying out.

Mitch, I had the sister's over before, but they got "suspicious" of my food, cause I might have used butter and the forks might have touched the meat, and the meat smelled the house up, it was non stop complain with my too "Vegan Sister Witches" he he he, and they went on and on about how the animal died horrid and "how could we eat meat in front of them".... Hubby put a quick end to that and out the door they went! ha ha ha!!

Had a great dinner with my mom and my hubby and New few too!

This was yesterday afternoon with hubby and his Organic Ancient Corn...

Your video was quite fun and entertaining. I was getting lost in the moment wishing I was there enjoying all the festiveness. So do you eat that corn or is it just for decoration? I think you said you eat ate it last year and is it sweet?

No never ate it yet, :woot: last year hubby was saving all the seeds and would not spare me any!! This year we have lots and we are going to grind it into corn flour and make tortillas and corn bread!! I will try it this year and find a recipe online. How hard can it be? I did eat some right off the corn in the summer and it was good! It is good for drying and grinding into flour. That is what the ancient people did and we want to taste the "ancient" food this year. Hubby looking for a suitable grinder, or I will just get me a stone.

Ryan loved the video and just wanted to know how you did that? When I did it I just put the phone in a old Pickle jar, and lowered the phone into the water, and I was careful not to lower below the jar, but then I got "carried away" and some water got in over the top cause I was looking at the "picture" instead of water level at top of jar... that is how I got my phone wet...

Oh and I think hubby got carried away in the moment, the look on his sweet face, I wonder what he was thinking... he forgot that I was videoing so I was able to get a "natural" moment, and I love those the best. Hubby looks good to me I just love our time together outside and cherish each moment now. I was thinking how lucky I was to still have hubby after the horrid cancer. One of my friends lost a loved one to cancer last month, and I knew several people at work facing cancer in their life who lost their battle. So I am just happy and can't help but feel lucky.

I'm glad you have your sweet hubby to love and care for for as long as forever Colleen!

Not a bad day again today in the 60's w/no rain. Lots of squished things on the road when I walk now. They come out for the wetness on the roads and then they are no more. Snakes come out to get the last warmth of the roads, frogs are moving at night across the wet roads, wooly bear caterpillars looking for a place to turn, squirrels stocking up for winter, etc. It can be a sad journey but so is the circle of life....................darn cars tho, they aren't part of the circle of life!
