@tbendl sure hoping and praying all ends well for your friends and family over there in Puna and any other people living there. Now lava would be one thing that would scare me away right quickly!
HOt here today and up to 80 at just 2pm so looks like it might get close to 90

Beautiful day yesterday 76F and lots of sun. Today sunny and 82. The extended forecast for the next week looks like 72 will be the coolest day. Going to spend as must time outside as I can enjoying the last of the warm days!

73 here today. The 2-1/2 feet of snow we received is pretty much all gone now.
I'm going to consider that snowfall and low temperature week we had our first polar vortex this season.

MitchM is this one of those you say tomato I say tomatoe? You can consider it a polar vortex, I just call it plum crazy!

If I got the snow that Mitch just got I would be so depressed.................and I love snow but not till December. At least it is gone now Mitch but I know that you know it will BE BACK!

tbendl, did the polar vortices reach down to you last winter? They were a shock to the system, for all of us!

jw, all the tall grasses are knocked down here and with the melting and the hot sun that's out now, it smells wonderful when you go out for a walk.
I wouldn't want to live anywhere else.

Oh yeah we had "snow". It shut our entire county down for 3 days. It was a light dusting of icy rain but it still counted. The county didn't have salt so they sprinkled sand instead. Brilliant!!! Every bridge was closed and most of the roads. It was crazy.

It was a beautiful morning, 57 slight sprinkle, met up with two women I walk with now and then. Did 5.25 miles.

I'm jealous. I used to run 5 miles a day... Until the great pond build that is. Should be able to get back into it when the weather cools.
