Yes, "rub it in" JW Don't worry about us here in Alberta wishing it was warmer! I feel lousy today, got the flu and feel chilled. Drinking hot tea and hoping tomorrow will be really hot so I can soak up some sun for my acky bones!

I can't even imagine the pains you Canadian's must go through with winter. Seems like as soon as you get your pond up and running for the year, its time to shut it down for winter. I feel for you guys

we had light frost last night, woke up and seen frost on the truck. Plants seem fine, ground is still warm so that must have helped the plants.

Chilly at night tho and I hear talk of areas around us getting even colder. Guess it's almost time to haul out the fall food for the fish. I have been holding off cuz it's just been so warm during the daytime.

Thanks JW, but my fat Poppy come to my rescue and snuggled me and licked my nose and made me feel better. I also sat outside and soaked up some of those sunbeams you sent yesterday JW!!
I envy those people with all day sun right now, wish I could cut all thoses trees down and shave that hill, then I could have all day sun to sit outside and soak in. Making fresh blue mountain roasted coffee right now, hubby likes that blend from our local roastery downtown. Sister should be having that baby soon I would think, it has to be done and ready to come by soon!!!

Awwwwwww that Poppy is a good nurse. Glad you got some of our warm sun to help make you feel better too. More here today so maybe you too will get it again. Seems like your sister has been pregnant forever. Has to be cooked and done very soon I would think too. Hope all goes fine for her and that little baby. You will be a wonderful aunty to him/her if your sis will let you. Enjoy your coffee by the pond today

Back to beautiful weather here. Temperatures in the 70's coming this week.
The snow we got should be gone in the next few days.

Our climate is definitely changing. We received about 25% more moisture last year above normal.

Only 56°F. Although feels nice compared to the record cold temps we've been having.

Now I'm off on a camping adventure for a couple days. tomorrow, my only full camping day, is supposed to be rainy, go figure...

Had two nights of 28 degrees. Even tho I covered my tomatoes they froze. Today we had a high of 77F what a nice day. Love the sun!

Had wonderful weather this weekend for pond work but then talked to my mom. Madame Pele is throwing lava in Hawaii less than 2 miles from her home and is expected to hit a small town to the south of her in about 9 days. They are just now recovering from Hurricane Iselle and now are facing this. My thoughts are with friends and family in Puna over the next few days. Send happy thoughts that way if you get a chance.
