Hang in there Ryan, hopefully it will dry up soon and then the flooding won't get any worse. This year we were spared any major flooding cause they lowered the level of water at our dam upstream just two days in advance of the heavy rain forecast, and they say that prevented another big flood this year. Last year they never lowered the dam and then lots of people flooded downstream.

Addy you will have to tie down everything if that tropical storm or worse moves your way. Just seems when everything in the yard looks good and finally summer is here, now people have to worry about the wild weather! Nothing is ever easy these days... I got so much to do and so little time off to do it! :(

Tis the time of year I have to do outside chores early in the morning. Got up to 94 yesterday. I got a late start one day so the heat was pretty bad. A good friend walked over and asked me if Cathy knew I was outside. Since wifey was at work the answer was sorta obvious. Our friend first offered to help me finish my chore, I declined, then sternly told me I had 20 minutes to get myself back in the house. Believe you me she would have called Cathy in a second if I had not finished up. Some men might have gotten upset but it sure is nice to have friends who care.

This storm system is missing us, hitting land around 2 hours north of where we are, but it might hit maryland as a hurricane. just a cat 1 so far when it might hit north carolina, then heading up the coast.

Looking at your camera window it looks a bit windy but nothing horrible yet anyways addy. Hope it behaves itself and doesn't hurt the bee hives!

We are far enough in land, pretty safe from these type of storms, unless it moves in to the bay and tracks west. Usually we just get lots of rain and some wind. Catch the edge of the storm.
