Don't even say or think about that white stuff coming your way Mitch. That would not be good if it came back. I mean I like snow but I love the long breaks we have from it.

Rained all night I think, well it's all wet here and I heard it off and on pounding on our roof. Supposed to shine later today w/ chance of showers but starting tomorrow Heaven arrives and mostly sunny forever.........well at least for a few days anyways

Snow was showing up on the radar about 20 miles further into the foothills from us, so it was close but never materialized.
Beautiful sunny week ahead for us here, but we've also had 2 days of hail storms. My plants do not like that!

Weeding activity this weekend for me!

jw, you're going to grow moss on yourself with all the rain you get.:)

Today was beautiful, not to hot and not too cold, just felt really nice. The river is flowing higher than it was this time last year, bad luck surely cannot strike twice and flood us again, or can it?

Bad Bear was posing for the camera, today near the river, in the tall green grass....

Awww pretty puppy Colleen :)

Sitting out by the pond, cool 70's after the rain storms that blew threw. Lots of wetness ,but We needed it. Frogs are at it again lol. And it's seem the owls I heard the other night are Barred Owls. I was searching for a call online and found a sight. And as I played the calls, a few minutes later an owl answered back! Sooo cool! Seems as though we have a bit more nature this year, as I have, much to my hubby's disagreement, not mowed parts of the yard that are not use right now and wild flowers and grasses are popping up. More birds, bugs and the like. It's awesome :) If I had a tractor, I'd get rid of all that grass on that acre back there and plant wild flowers. Elephant ears are starting to pop their head out of the ground, I put glass cloches over most of them to try and get then to brake ground faster. Just not warm enought yet at night.
Beautiful, beautiful night :)

Was a beautiful day here today w/ warmth and sunshine and will be this way for at least the next 7 days. Wow that is going to be some fun in the sun for sure. Maybe we can get in a bike ride or two. I need to finish cleaning my pond and walking and finish listening to my audio book. I'm hooked on audio books for walking now.

Nice shots of your dog Colleen.

I didn't realize you had a small pond in your front yard. I love it! Very cute decor and is that moss you have going around the edges? Do you have fish in this pond?

80, sunny. We've had really nice weather lately, but we pretty much went from Winter to Summer in the course of two weeks. The long Winter pretty much removed Spring from the seasons this year. I hope Summer and Fall go slow.

Yes. that is moss around the little pond out front, it has a little stream too that I have plants in, and the fish can swim up that stream too. Happy you like it, still working on it and planted a few things last night around pond.
The fish are hiding right now, under a rock cave, cause they are still afraid that the big net will come back and get them! ha ha ha

Working on the front flower beds now...

Raining right now, and has been off and on all morning.

I can't wait to see your red and green corn you talked about. Love the red banana plants! Are they tropical? Around here, Zone 5-6, the green ones are hardy, but not the red ones, so if you have a red hardy, I want to know the type! LOL
Love the rock sculpture. How in the world do you keep those top rocks from falling? Must be optical illusion or something. And, it's so much fun to see tulips blooming again! We get so much more spring when there are so many of us posting pics from different zones!

My rocks are worked into the ground, and the ground is flat mostly, so they do not run away. Some of the rocks are just for decoration, and others are dug down part way to support the little slope on the one side. The red Banana's were pretty cheap, at 7 dollars a piece, and they are tropical and will die off in winter. I will enjoy them while they last, and I thought about digging them out but they get really big and would be too big for my little greenhouse. I just have them for the one season, unless winter does not come! ha ha ha

I will make coffee, tea or wine, and we could all sit in my bug free zone and relax! Just beautiful today! Birds are singing loudly and I can hear them from in the house! We can all sit right here by my pond, day or night!
