cool out this morning and been out checking everything .I had emptied out my 1 stock tank to move it and checked it out ,it has 3 1/2 inches of rain water in it .So we got a lot of rain .Pond is full and I had dropped the level down 8 inches before the rain and it was at the over flow this morning .Every thing got a good soaking .I left the grass on the front hill high so it would slow the rain water down .

I will check some of those others out,

We are right now at 2.95 inches of rain it is pouring. Luckily our house does not ever flood, love being at the top of a hill The pond is getting a huge flush job.

Schools are rain closed today, there is flooding going on

Stay safe at the top of the hill today, hope it quits raining soon!

it looks like it wants to rain here, but so far just a light sprinkle has fallen, barely enough to wet the sidewalk. Need ti make coffee, slept late cause I was tired after work last night. Need a vacation one of these days to get caught up in yard! Thank goodness I have Monday off!

I got my yard mowed around noon today, finished just before it started to rain. Then, sun... rain ... sun ... rain ... back and forth, but mostly windy the whole time. Sunny right now, and my WI relatives (cousin and my sister and her family) should be here anytime! Good thing about the rain, I couldn't work outside, so I cleaned the garage and utility room, and house was all clean this morning, so it's good to have company, get a good house cleaning done. LOL Took me 2 weeks to get it all done, and mowed 3 times in the last 10 days. Glad I got it mowed today, even though I put deck up a notch, so I wouldn't have to "sweep" any excess grass. It looks great, but will need to be mowed again soon with the rain we got. I think all week I've gotten just under 2" total, so that's perfect!

We're under a heavy rainfall warning for this coming long weekend. Up to 4 inches predicted around our area.
That should keep the ATV yahoos out of the crown land next to us, but I wonder if it's going to cause some issues downstream again (Colleen!)

This rain should wash away the last of our snow too.:)
Our wild pond is almost ice free as well.

Great grass growing weather you are having too. Have a nice visit w/ your family and hope the weather turns nice for you while they are there :)

Well I'm sure you would want this rain vs more snow but as for the flooding that is a whole different can of worms. Hope you are on high ground which I think you are but then maybe getting out to lower ground might not be possible so you are stuck. That's what's happens to us once in a great while. Floods down below us so we just have to sit up here on our hill and wait for when we can get out and go anywhere.

We're at the top of a hill, no worries there. Worse that could happen is a road or 3 gets washed out, stranding us here.
It's not like we go anywhere anyways.:D
