Ugly as sin, but they do a GOOD job of cleaning up road kill. NEVER saw any in our area before 1985 or so, now there are hundreds of them here every summer! Our turkey vultures are here year round. Nasty birds. It's snowing here again!!!
It's official.... Spring is on its way! Saw the first two turkey vultures this morning. These guys like it warm, so I have NO idea why they're here in our 32 F. temps. Also saw the largest flock of Canada geese I've ever seen around here, at least 2,500 to 3,000 birds. Flying east with a good tailwind, they HAD to be doing 85 mph!

They stay year round down here. Snowed here again, but 60 tomorrow all will be gone , again, soon.
lol and we had to drive to Baltimore, 45 minutes from here, crazy dumb drivers, saw 4 accidents. Just slush on the roads.I 'liked' your post because i LIKE the fact that you got snow, and for once I didn't!

Haver..you should be fine with getting it going. Water and ground temp is too warm now for it to freeze. I have already started feeding cheerios to mine. Every time I go near the pond they all come up expecting food. Cat tails are starting to grow in the bog already. I was so happy when I saw that yesterday. Helped my dad get his camper dewinterized today. Had to flush out all of that RV antifreeze and give it a good cleaning. He doesn't know too much about pulling that big of a camper yet, 31ft travel trailer with a dry weight of 8,000 pounds. He said that it smelled hot on the 15 mile drive from storage to my house. He didn't turn off the over drive on his new dodge truck. I made sure he knew that it MUST be turned off when pulling his camper. Helped him put up some new LED multi color changing strip lights. Got them wired into his 12 Volt system. Going CAMPING next weekend. Can't wait!!
