My wife and I live in the city of Desoto, Texas. The majority population in the city of Desoto, TX is - African American @ 66.6%. Whites comprise 20.4%. Hispanic and others @ 13%. Thus by simple numerical raking within the confines of Desoto, TX, population as of 2012 is 51,102 we as whites are among the minority.

It is very important for you and all other readers to note that my wife and I have no problem with the racial and or multi-cultural make up of Desoto. The problems I mentioned are related to the practices of individuals rather than any specific segment. It just so happens that the taxi service problem I specified were committed by a citizen beloning to the majority population for Desoto, Tx..

To clearly and specifically illustrate my tagging decrimination to my taxi service isuue please read on. I know, first hand, not hearsay, that a frienly neighbor, four houses down from us, who is African American routinely utilizes the one and only taxi service which is operated by an elderly African American gentleman. He operates a one vehicle Yellow Cab service. I have called this very same gentleman on four separate occasions over time seeking taxi service. In all four instances I was told he, meaning his taxi service, does not service my street. The street name for our home and the aforementioned neighbor is one and the same.

and we pay and pay and pay and they live off of us and laugh at us and then have more babies and there babies do the same thing ,No one wants to work these days ,they want everything free .They were never taught the value of work and earn what you have or want .I worked on the farm and in my dads wood business from the age of 10 and before that from the age of 7 we canned all our own food .We scrimped we saved and we fought for everything we had .I tried to teach the same to my sons .I loved them and earned there love as much as they earned mine .My older son did not have it easy being that in less than 2 years of his life at the age of 10 I lost my mom and dad and my sister and we were a little lost be we found our way with strenght .These days all people want is everything given to them .

You are correct John. This thread is for weather. After realizing my reply was in the weather thread I unsucessfulyy attempted to move it over to good banter. I cannot copy nor cut and past with this new forum software.

Now back to the weather. Just received a freezing rain warning. Going to be hazardous for our local drivers.
