and you have 21% sales tax. Nothing is free.

21%??? Who has 21% sales tax? here in Ontario it's ONLY 13% .They combined the PST (Provincial Sales Tax) with the GST (Gouge and Screw Tax) and call it the HST (still working on that one, but I think it's Homo Sapiens Tax)

I tried to cross the border to get your snow Haro but they said the custom's tax for snow was 25% and when they asked how much I paid I said nothing and they just wouldn't believe me. Said their snow was worth at least $500. a truck load so I passed. You will have to bring it down here to the border in Blaine and heave it over to our side. I'll leave my truck parked there close for ya and I'll come get it later.
So if you see a my truck like this parked near the border just start heaving snow into it

working of the ugliest cupboards on planet Earth now.... I was going to get new cupboards one day but the new ones are not solid wood anymore and I won't be able to slam the new ones shut when I have a temper tantrum. Fresh coat of paint and things are coming nice! I need Orange Nobs now....

I just don't know, j.w.! My spider senses are tingling (or maybe it's just frostbite), and somehow I feel like I'm being set up here. I know it may be hard for you to believe, but I can get into enough trouble all by myself, and don't really want to tangle with your customs agents again. Man, those guys have NO sense of humor! So I'll have to pass, at least for now. However, I'll probably be out west this summer, and if we still have snow then (It probably won't melt by CHRISTMAS!) I will load up the truck and drop it off in your front yard! I know a spot in Alberta where it's quite easy to cross the border, as long as nobody rats me out!

Now that's exactly what I was hoping for Snow in Summer! Isn't there a plant by that name..............let me see...........ahhhhhh yes here it is:

Where it's happy, snow-in-summer will slowly spread, creating a carpet of white blooms that cover the plant in spring to early summer. I'll take some of this Haro :)

I looked for snow in summer here and for some strange reason no one had it ,but I saw it growing on someones hill last year .Sharon told me the house burned so we may try to harvest some for free .The land is up for sale and it is growing all along side the road .They have that section marked off to put sidewalks in so they will be tearing it up .Sharon's friend Icey lives right down the street from it .

Gas by me has not gone under $3 for a very long time. Last I saw on Fri. it was $3.19, down from $3.29 earlier last week. Again ... I'm moving to VA when I retire. LOL :D

Next time I'm able too, I'm going to buy a 300 gallon tank and get gas when its cheap. That should be able to get me by all summer.
