I lived in NJ most of my life and all those big huge gas storage tanks all over yet gas still going up .Then find out why propane is going up and why there is a shortage as they started to ship propane over seas because they make more money off of it .They just started shipping it just over a year ago .At least in NJ when you pulled up to the gas pump an attendent pumped your gas while you stayed in your nice seat .Now I have to pump my own .

My healthcare is still valid from Ford so really don't worry to much about that .I just wish they had not started that stupid healthcare here as it really hurt people more than it helped .What they really need to do is something about the welfare stuff .To many people here taking advantage of the welfare system .If you want then mandatory drug tests should be done .It is for children not cell phones ,new cars and designer night club clothes and alcahol

Got the tiniest bit of snow and now it is all melting. Going up to 41f and rain is a comin

no not really we knew the union may have to cut some but really not much was lost .We have to pay a small yearly fee to Blue Shield of Michigan of just under 300 dollars a year but well worth .Hubbies bil for his heart attack was over 100 thousand dollars we paid 688 dollars .500 dollar deductable and 188 was extra

The problem with "free" stuff is that when people don't earn it, they don't value it as much.
Just look at all you can eat restaurants. If people had to pay a la carte, you think there'd be as much food thrown away?
In the US, we see a lot of abuse of "free" stuff by people who don't see the need for work because stuff is provided for them if they don't work and why work if stuff is provided for them if they don't work and why work if stuff is provided for them if they don't work and why work if stuff is...

No sales tax in Alberta.
We do have GST, which is like a tax on consumption, but that's only 5%. We do have higher income tax than the US. WAY higher, probably.
How would you abuse healthcare? Purposely not look after yourself?
