What is your weather like ... today

68.4 degrees, 430 am........................it is supposed to be winter. So afraid my seeds are all going to germinate. darn it.

Under severe tstorm warnings until 10 am today, high of 70 but we are two degrees from the high at our night low, bet it gets hotter

Looks like this cold front is moving faster than they planned! 65 here this morning but storms moving in. JW- hubby has to work for the next 2 days so he is no help. Not much help when he is off! Got gifts stashed so just need to wrap today and put everything in the truck except the tonic water. Got him his favorite gin.

Cold, overcast and very windy. Sunny has discovered our old Mardi Gras beads. Happy cat!

We've dropped almost 10 degrees since I got up this morning. (couple of hours ago)
Currently -20c/-4f. Something must be coming.

It is running out the overflow end a nice little river of water. The water just flows down the slope into our woods. The ground is mush, it squishes when you walk. Great water change! I am sure it is warming up too, but my pond thermometer died, so no clue. Going by how the fish are acting it is a lot warmer, they are swimming in all areas of the pond snacking on plants and whatever else is there.

What shocked me was to see the frogs out. The lowest pond in the stream is right next to our septic tank, it stays warmer. Those plants are growing, green and there I saw a frog jump into the water from the edge, small one. And the huge green frog on the ice, yesterday.

hey addy need to ask is it safe to put those lotus tubers in a pot in the pond now .

I would, they do best outside You might need to anchor them with a rock. Very nice tubers by the way. Would you like a struggling staghorn fern? It was growing wild at our house in florida, I brought it home, but we are not humid enough inside to keep it healthy. If you are not I am going to take it back to florida and just hang it in an outside bush.

I wonder if it would grow here .I had one back in NJ and gave it to my cousin because it was just to big to safely transport down here .I wanted to take babies from it but have not been back up that way because of hubbies health .Doctor told us he is going to have to go back in hospital for more heart surgery .Waiting to find out now when .The air plants I got are growing like crazy .I mist them every day
