JW, my brother, who lives just across the water from Seattle, posted this on his Facebook page today about the weather there:
"30% chance of rain. For most parts of the country, that means 3 out of 10 days there is a 30% chance of rain. In Seattle, it means it will rain 30% of the day, and be overcast and look like it might rain the other 70% of the day."
We got some rain today, maybe .6" and it was needed. Cooling down here, supposed to get down to 50 or so tonight. Love the cool nights again! Pond temps are down to 67, after being up close to 80 this past weekend. I got 2 wireless floating thermometers that are made for pools at Menards last weekend. Normally $24, on sale for $10! The one in the goldfish pond is evidently too far from the transmitter, though, so should have returned it. Oh well! I can still see the LED window and read the temp easily when I'm out there.

Rain rain rain. Sunday looks like it will be a fairly nice day only 10 percent chance of rain. Outside temps seem to getting a little warmer.

let it rain! at least here, we are still catching up. This has been a great may, nice and wet, better then the last few summers, where it quit raining at the end of march and got hot.

possible isolated tornadoes here today, need to anchor things down

It's cool here this morning, 52. I went outside, fed the fish, and came right back in this morning. No dilly dallying this morning. But, didn't have to water the hanging potted plants either! Got a little rain yesterday. Cloudy and windy, too. But, I'll take it for first day of June over the 95 we have been having. I sure missed spring, so it's good to have spring weather back. :)

CE you got it right when it comes to the weather forecast here, lol! Need to mow the lawn today and if it clears up a bit we'll have to get out there even if just doing it off and on between raindrops. It was raining but clearing up some now but kinda windy.
Addy I'm looking at your camera now waiting for the storm. Looks a bit rainy and windy but not horrible yet. Batten down the hatches all you people w/ severe weather coming your way!

Whew the tornadoes went south and east of us, one cool t-storm though. I love them too, in arizona we used to get the neatest streak lightening. Dumped 1/4 of inch in 15 minutes, we are still under tornado warnings, the tornado type storm is 5 miles from us right now, storm is spinning they are saying go to shelter.

lol you missed the hard rain, more is coming

Raining... in June!

However, it's all good for now as it's doing water changes for me, for free!
