JW, my brother, who lives just across the water from Seattle, posted this on his Facebook page today about the weather there:
"30% chance of rain. For most parts of the country, that means 3 out of 10 days there is a 30% chance of rain. In Seattle, it means it will rain 30% of the day, and be overcast and look like it might rain the other 70% of the day."
We got some rain today, maybe .6" and it was needed. Cooling down here, supposed to get down to 50 or so tonight. Love the cool nights again! Pond temps are down to 67, after being up close to 80 this past weekend. I got 2 wireless floating thermometers that are made for pools at Menards last weekend. Normally $24, on sale for $10! The one in the goldfish pond is evidently too far from the transmitter, though, so should have returned it. Oh well! I can still see the LED window and read the temp easily when I'm out there.
