Wow! i am glad you didnt get hit. We have yet to have any major storm yet this year here at Sullivan. Usually have all kinds of rough weather by now.

Lucky you addy as you must live in the area that gets missed all the time by the tornados. Have you ever seen one there?
We get little ones here now and then but they might just knock a tree down or tear up a shed. Hardly ever tho and when we do it makes the news big time.
Rain here today and more tomorrow.

The potential tornado clouds were 1 mile from our house when they went east, hit the next town. A touch down type tornado, nothing like kansas or those states. During the alert we had 4 potentials just south of us by a few miles, luckily all went east. We are up in the hills, so I think it messes up the path of the storms. In arizona I was in storms that had 140 mph winds, but there they don't call them tornados, just wind sheer storms.

Have never seen one, don't want to see one.

It's sunny, cool this morning, in 60's, sitting on my deck with computer, coffee, listening to water flowing/falling, already fed fish, watered plants. How more perfect can life get??? Thank you, Lord! Life IS good!!!
Sure beats the alternative, don't it?

Raining here and 50F lousy degrees! Even the crow outside my window sitting way up high on the top of my tree looks miserable all scrunched up like he needs an overcoat! Excuse me Colleen but this is one area where I am not a happy camper
Seems like our Spring season gets worse here every year! Think I'm going back to Hawaii and live on the beach

Sissy you would not believe how nice the homeless have it over there...............at least the sane ones anyways! I talked to one lady and she looked nicely dressed and clean and had all her clean bags w/ her. She told me her story and she collects her social security and sleeps on a bench next to the police station in Waikiki! She does have plans to w/ her boyfriend to get a place to live there to rent eventually tho. Life is so different there and relaxed...................well unless you go on a freeway right in town, then it's back to reality pretty much but the crowded freeway doesn't last too long unless rush hour!

geeze and there is JW have a heart to heart with her .I guess you would fit in .I think the problem with all these warm vacation places started with all the people going there and then all the hotels motels condos and resorts raised the prices to the point where the local people had no chance to own any thing .That is happening all over and sure we boost the economy but we should not be allowed to buy as that pushes the island people out .Not fair to people who lived there to start and all it is is big corporations fattening there wallets .Richer getting richer poorer getting poorer

Yesterday we were suppose to have thunderstorms with possible hail. It was the warmest day we've had in awhile even tho it was cloudy. The storm missed us and all we had was a little rain. Today it was chilly and when I got home at 6:30 tonight it started to rain and hasn't stopped yet. Now we have a flood watch until Thursday morning. I live up on a mountain so I don't have to worry about that but where I work it is a big possibility.
