Finally no rain today. Sunny, but cold. Some clouds/overcast in the distance. Almost like February weather.

jw, I had been sooo longing forward to Spring/Summer and right now this is a big disappointment. I've been cooped up inside the house all Winter long and was looking forward to doing a lot of outdoor activities.

You and me both John, it is horrible. We wanted to go camping at the ocean but looks like we will have to head east of the mountains to find any sun the way it's looking. I can't even hardly get my walking in here now w/ all the rain. Just not very inviting to go out into it even w/ an umbrella...............depressing!

I have rain gear that I can go walking in the downpour, i.e waterproof trainers, pants and jacket with hood. And I also have a complete set of rain gear: rain boots, fisherman's pants and smock with button down sleeves and pant legs.

I remember one year I went out to check the gutters in a downpour and despite the fact that I was wearing the fisherman's rain gear with gloves, by the time I went back in I was completely soaked. Well, I had to do some climbing and lifting my arms over my head so the rain just went in through various nooks and crannies and I might as well have been wearing swimwear I was so wet!
