Sunny and hot here today, windy, too! I need to spray Roundup around my pasture fence line, but too windy this evening. Maybe in the a.m. Supposed to be in the 90's here tomorrow. Sure hoping for some cooler temps when my daughter gets here on Monday, or she'll be complaining about our humidity. LOL She loves the "dry" mountain weather in Utah.

Hot at Sullivan 89 degrees. No rain. Havent had to mow the yard for almost two weeks! Getting tired of watering the garden with city water.

ICSD, if I had to water and pay for the water, I would not have the flowers and landscaping I have. I think I enjoy watering as much as having all of them. Hanging pots get watered every day, other plants and landscaping only when it's really hot and dry for extended period of time, like NOW! Been soooo windy along with the heat, at least the humidity is kept a bay with the wind. But, everything is so dry. That early corn farmers got in is going to suffer, and who would have thought early June so dry ... come on rain! Illinois needs you now!

Yes we do. Looking forward to rain Monday hopefully. But there is a chance of severe weather to so need to be careful. Very windy today and warm. Not bad overall. A frontal boundary approaching. Hoping it will dump rain on us!

I think I'd put up with some storms to get the rain from them. And, just got to thinking, no tornadoes or really bad weather this spring, maybe one storm but that's it! Other states had tornadoes and bad weather, but we have been lucky. Yeah, I'm hoping that front will push some rain this way, too. Temps never got as hot as they predicted, but the wind will sure wear you out. My daughter is coming home tomorrow night, and she's been raised with heat and humidity, so she will deal with it, and give me heck about her "dry heat" in UT. But, my Mom is coming from AZ week from today, and she has asthma, so it will kill here, so hoping for some cooler temps and lower humidity for the week she is here.

Y'all can have all the rain you want, come on down and get all you can take! LOL It's rained for six days straight here, over 6" since it came in. More in the forecast coming. It's been averaging the low to mid 90's all this past week and 100% humidity, feels like 105+++++ lol seriously it's muggy muggy and the ground is muddy muddy, and I must say it's yucky yucky weather. BLAH! But the weeds seem to be really appreciative of our wonderful weather.

Aw, shucks, Larkin. Why doesn't Mother Nature share some of that moisture with others?! And, give some of our warms temps to our friends on the NW coast while she's at it. I seriously think our ground could soak up 5-6" of rain right now, if it came in 5-6 days. That would really green things up!
