lol didn't. It sure poured, corn rows are flooded With our slopes we get mini rivers running down hills. I need to add another drainage pipe my 3 inch was not quite big enough, for this mini flash flood. When I dug the stream and pond, I re-sloped the slope to have it run down the sides and away from the stream and pond. So far so good, we have had a few real bad rains. One time coming down at the rate of 17 inches per hour, luckily not for long.

Everything looks so clean and fresh and flowers are so pretty, Addy! Is that a yucca blooming already? I just can't get enough of your flowers. I really think you should do a walking video from top to bottom when most of your plants are in full bloom. It's amazing what you all have on that hillside and then the bog at the bottom to finish off the video.

Addy has the pot of gold hidden in her trees, Todd! That way no one will steal it ..... except her ground hog babies! I'm reading about them in posts, but I must have missed the original post. Do you have any pics of the babies? Maybe in another post?

BOOM lights off, lights on, lights off, lights on! finally lights off, power off for 6 hours. I had to run around and unplug, even with the ups on our tv etc we were getting strange flickering of the lights and ac, until they finally shut down for real.

We sure are wetter this year than the last two, this is great.

I don't think any fish went out the waterfall, I have the area blocked with rocks, if there are fry in there, some may have gone out with the torrent. I have not seen any fry yet, even though they have spawned x 5 this year so far.

It was cool this morning when I got up and rain came real quick! yes! I put out every tub,cooler and bucket I had to catch the rain. Dont know when we may get more. So I want to be able to add to the pond and water the garden.

luckily it cooled down with the storm jw, we did fine, just missed our fan. Then 230am the power came back on, ran down to the pond to make sure the pump turned back on correctly, since we had just installed it. Geez what we do for our critters.

We do love our critters and do go through a lot of time and trouble trying to keep them safe. DH said I have the radio on too loud outside to keep the heron away and he said he turned it down cuz the neighbors might not like it. I said no way and went out and turned it back up and told him if he turned it down again I would keep turning it up! He gave up on that battle cuz he knows how I feel about my fish. So I will fight to the finish to keep them safe even if they call the cops on me! Besides it's only on during the day from say..........5am to 9pm,lol! If they can let their dogs bark,shoot guns, have loud parties and drive their motorcycles up and down the road all the time then my radio is staying on..........besides no one has ever complained so what's all this hoopla about anyways?
