Sissy I am sad to hear your hubby is still suffering with internal bleeding. I hope the good doctors can fix him up better this time. Please take care of your self and I will say another prayer for your hubby....

So you rained on my Parade! let me tell you what life is like with no strong union to support the workers... I worked at this very large greenhouse and made them very good money with pond plants and seling large snails the size of Apples. I worked for pennies, was promised more money that never happened.

This whore that was sleeping with the boss got paid the most, and her 16 and 17 year old kids got paid more than everyone, including the bookkeeper. To make story short, she sucked the money out of that place while the old guy she was sleeping with got older and had a stroke! THEN the greenhouse that had it's busiest season ever went broke and his family was left with nothing.... A UNION could have saved that place!!! GREED like Wallstreet!!!

Unions have changed, they are gettng better, and like everything everywhere, there is always people that take advantage of the system. Nothing is ever going to be perfect. Rotten Apples are everywhere people, including your back yard! :bowdown: :bowdown: :bowdown: Thank goodness for a good Union!!!

well just got home and have not slept and they have not found the bleed and waiting for duke hospital to send over all there stuff .Blood pressure was 212 over 105 and they just can't find what is causing all this .They are giving him fluids and monitoring his heart closely .Got all this stuff on him .Liquid diet only no solids at all .But blood is coming out faster .They did another endoscopy but still nothing showing up .Scarey because they asked me about my other son in NJ and if he is coming down .

Gosh sissy I feel so bad for you and him having to go through all of this and they can't find the bleeding. I do hope a miracle happens and they find it and can correct it fast so he doesn't get so weak. I will keep on praying hard!

Oh my, I'm so very sorry to hear that, Sissy. I'll be saying extra prayers for you and your husband, and hope they figure out what is going on with your husband. I agree, if he's losing blood, why such high blood pressure? Doesn't make sense to me either.

Colleen, I'm no fan of unions either, but I'm glad to hear you're back to work so soon.

I have never liked unions, but am in one now, and thankful for that, because I am under a contract, and getting cost of living raises, whereas other State employees not union have not had a raise for 5 years or more. BUT, I tend to agree with Haro on this subject. He's talking about working FOR the union, and what a racket it was. He's right, people take advantage of the union, USE it to get things they should NOT get (not including you, Colleen, you deserve what you are getting ...). If you read what he said, it was people wanting to take 7 hours of smoke breaks during an 8 hour work day, people taking advantage are the ones that are awful! A lady working for Children and Family Services called wolf and her union came running. Turns out she was a total pain in the ass to work with, and she caused EVERYONE lots of trouble by accusing them of spying on her, etc., which got her out of the job she was in, stayed at home for over 6 months WITH PAY while they investigated the issues, and then she was placed in another agency. So, if she was really correct, don't you think she would have gone back where she had been? Just saying ... yeah, people sure take advantage of unions, and make the Union workers life hell! I can see both sides of the coin, and glad I am union because of raises. Just hate it when people take advantage of what the union is supposed to do to help the workers. :blueflower:

Yes , I am very happy for unión, I Miss half my breaks as it is cause we are worked to death. This company would never allow Long breaks, you would not get away with that here.! There is much corruption every where, but this unión is very good and all of us are now much happier!

Wallmart need a unión bad!
