I hope you easterners get a good shower out of the storm that pushed east from here on Sat. I sure enjoyed all the moisture it left in it's tracks.
Yes, Fishy, that's a great idea for planting the tree. The fact the bottom of the hole is all clay, it will hold any water I put in there anyhow, and since no rain predicted until weekend, I'll probably fill it with water and see how long it takes to soak it up, before planting. That way I'll know how often to water it after planting. My sister says to cut the tree down, plant a new one, save the bog, but I'm more daring than that. I have to try! It is an "original" tree to this property, and I should have moved it when I dug the pond. Right now, not sure why, unless I had a vision it would stay that small! :blueflower:
