Was a wonderful last day of Summer I presume for us and our bike ride was so pleasant and enjoyable. We just cruised around leisurely like we had all the time in the world. We are retired so we are allowed to do that now :biggrin:

JW that sounds so wonderful, cruising around on your bike with your honey! What fun.
It was a pretty day here, light breeze, upper 80's, sunny all day. Deck was wet again this morning, another small amount of rain, but not much. Tonight and tomorrow morning is another chance. I'm crossing fingers and toes for more than a tiny bit!!!
Just looked at the weekend weather: 74 and 72 for HIGHS, and mid 40's for lows, and sunny both days. I'll be praying for that 80% chance of rain tomorrow morning, and then maybe clear off, as my son is coming over to start on my new well housing tomorrow late morning. :banana:

John if we could only just have a month or so more of todays kind of weather that would be super. I think we might get a sort of nice day tomorrow and then precisely at 5pm the fat lady will sing and the rains will arrive. So long old sol,till we meet again :bye2:

we got heavy rain around 3 am no thunder no lightening just a nice wet gift from the sky .Have to go to the post office before workers get here

storm warning until 7:15 here they are saying 60 mph winds .Hope it breaks up before it gets here ,

Storm warning here too for tomorrow. THIS FIRST VIGOROUS FRONT OF THE SEASON MAY PRUNE SOME TREE LIMBS...GIVING LOCAL POWER OUTAGES. All the deciduous trees still have all their leaves on them making them heavier so there goes the trees. Maybe it will pass us by and just stay on the coast or head for the mountains. Would hate to miss Breaking Bad if the cable goes out!

Friday did not bring extremely heavy rain to our little burb. Other North Texas cities fared much better. Good for them. Still appreciate what we received.

been thinking of putting it where my first pond was.thinking maybe over the edge and down to a tank in the ground ,right in front of the wall

Rain and wind are here but not that cold out there yet. Actually looks like rain has stopped for now. Was supposed to be a cold front coming...........we shall see.
