I hear the rains are coming soon but for today it will be a nice 75 - 80F. I must make use of these last days of Summer cuz when the rain comes we won't see dry till maybe next June/July if we are lucky :bye2:

Yes JW, I feel the same way, I feel so truly blessed, the weather is so very nice, and we had a nice party last night by the pond with friends from work. The sun is shining and it feels humid, temperature today should reach 94 degrees, but the sun sets quicker these days so it all good! :)

Just gorgeous weather, it's 78F right now. But looking at the weather chart, it's supposed to drizzle today and rain the rest of the week. Actually, according to the weather chart, its overcast, but its sunny outside.

Nobody can get all the yard work done cause it is never endng, just constant work. It is very hot today! I am hiding in house, should be working the rocks over somemore on the path, but gave up cause the heat and humitity so high that sweat was pouring off me like crazy, plus I feel a little hungover from party last night....

Earlier today I poured the fine sand into the cracks of the cobbling and now the path looks complete, sand knits everything together and makes the rock cobble strong.

No hiding here! Was very nice and went for my long walk but got nettles sneaking through a patch of woods to a field so I could by pass the bad kids road who got a gun and said he would shoot me. Ha Ha fooled him and he can't get me now. Hope he learned a lesson from all this trouble he got himself into harassing little ole me for over 2 yrs. Now he is in the court system awaiting trial unless of course he accepts a plea deal. One day maybe he will grow up and see the stupid things he's done and become a useful citizen or one day he will really shoot someone and spend his life in prison. He will have to make the choice. I pray he makes the right one!

Beautiful day today, after hot and humid 90 something yesterday. Sunny, light breeze, pool time with cousins and aunt and uncle, and then ice cream at the Dairy Bar! Can't beat that for a perfect day! Especially since I got my driveway and driveway to the barn sprayed with Roundup. Tomorrow, going to try to spray all the way around the pasture fence, since I mowed it shorter.

Warm and humid for the past week now. I hate it : ( We did do some work outside this weekend and took Chumlee (boxer puppy) to the park. Went to the fruit farm and got peaches, apples and an awesome strawberry rhubarb pie, yummy! It is starting to cool down this evening so we sat outside by the pond and had a glass of wine.

Looking forward to the remainder of the week as the weather should be more like I like it : )

Betta, I'd love to see a pic of your boxer puppy! My sister has a couple of brindles, and I have a brindle Boston Terrier that has 3 puppies. Love puppies. Our weather is getting cooler here, not quite a humid. If it stays in mid 80's with a little breeze, life is so much nicer! Love wine on the deck on evenings like today.

All indoor work today. We moved the 29g tank from under the 55g to its new stand. Took a long time to drain most of the water, but we left 4 inches of water including gravel, slid it onto a frame and put that on top of the new stand. The new stand is much better as it was a hassle having it under the 55g. We intended it to be a sump tank at first but we made it into a fish tank because some fish were too shy to eat and never got any food so we put them into the sump tank. Also moved some fish around. My fondest wish is to connect both tanks by a bridge but unfortunately, they're on either side of a door :-(
