2257 and it's frickin 85 degrees! It doesn't get much cooler here at night it simply gets dark!

Big Lou, That heat would be hard to take for me, hot here these days is when the temperture gets to 80 degrees! I would melt, that would be hard for me to sleep at night too...

Really nice early morning, temp of 58. Have fans on to cool house off to be ready for a high of 90 today. Also we have isolated T storms in the mix. We have a small lake about 9 miles from our house so we will be going there today with some friends for a picnic, canoeing, fishing and just having fun.

Nice here again this morning breeze blowing in the windows .We had thunder and lightening for 2 hours last night but not a drop of rain .It was the cloud to cloud lightening .I sat on the front porch swing with the dogs and watched the show

We got your rain sissy. 1.10 inches in less than 1/2 hour, it poured

I thought I could get away with mother nature watering my plants but she passed me by so had to water this morning .Darn mother nature .We decided yesterday to drive over to NC to shop most of the day .It got hot over there and dark clouds but no rain .Making our plans to go to NJ next week follow our company back there .

We had a light show here too last night and rains came and no gutters up on the house so washed all the gritty stuff from the roof onto the deck that I just cleaned all up nicely after the painter finished yesterday. RAIN is not my friend! It did water my dehydrated plants I have been neglecting tho so its not all bad. Forgive me rain, I take back that you are not my friend and please don't come down on me too hard for being mean to you :biggrinangelA:

I was sure it would storm today, big clouds threatened our "neck of the woods" all day. I also had to work real hard at work today, unloading many pellets of heavy frozen boxes of bread dough, back is acky now. Having a glass of red wine by the pond with hubby again, we sure love and enjoy our bug free zone I made this spring, to keep the hubby free of bug bites. The big giant net that go's over my big giant side hanging unbrella works great. It has a plastic black ring on the bottom that you fill with water to keep the net held down.

Today's high was 84 degrees, little or no wind, and tomorrow should get to 88 degrees with a good chance of a afternoon thunderstorm.

One week ago Pincher Creek, by the mountains, got a lot of rain, now the river here is rising again, no flooding is predicted for us.

we had thunder and lightening again but only a light sprinkle for about 10 minutes .But that was nice because we had a family picnic .Some of the family was here from NJ

I hear there is a big storm not to far away in lethbridge tonight, maybe it will come here and soak the ground good.

Cathy took me out for a very nice lunch. Blackened Mississippi Catfish topped with crab in a white wine butter sauce along with cheese grits and andouille. Still had room for desert so we shared a piece of key lime pie. After all that food I only had a bottle of choclate Ensure for supper. As for weather it was the fist day in a while that it was below 100. It was a good day!

Colleen & JW, I bet it is very nice and woody in Alberta and Washingston. Sissy, I know first hand that Virginia is certainly a beautiful state.

I live on the prairies Big Lou, but we have lots of trees down by the river and where I live the trees here on the "flats" grow like weeds. I also have wild cherry bushes that grew wild behind the old garage, that me and the wild birds quicky ate all up cause they were so juicy. Now the tiny black choke Cherrys are almost ready to eat, and those get even sweeter with the cold nights.

Right now it is about 60 degrees, no wind, and the sun is rising. It should be a nice day, but I have to work soon...

Bad side of the family picnic my sister's husband got a call and his mother was in the hospital and she was being transported to Roanoke Hospital because they found a brain aneurism and they had to head up to the hospital and have not heard anything yet .Tried to not call because I know how stressful it can all be .Last I heard was late last night that they were going to operate but they were not sure she would make it through the operation .Sharon called me because Dave's mother has a 2 year old chihuahua and may need taken care of .Of course I would love the little guy ,they will let me know as soon as they know more .Little guy must be scared with out his momma .
