What is your weather like ... today

well yesterday around noon we had a thunder and lightening storm lightening went from dark cloud to dark cloud and lasted for over an hour but no rain from it but sure was a pretty show .I sat on the front porch swing and watched it .Then it cooled off and my sister came over and we all sat out on the front porch swing and enjoyed the cool breeze after the storm .We were real swingers :cheerful:

We had similar, Sissy. Not too dark, but watched the lightening just a little in the distance, just wish it would have dumped on my yard. Only got a trace of rain, but anything now is better than nothing. Wind blew pretty good while the front passed through, and that will help the corn pollinate in the fields, as it's tasseling now. My sweet corn is, too, for that matter!

We were supposed to get rain but just got a show .Hot and humid again but been seeing heavy darker grey clouds coming my way in the last half hour .

gg my dad was from Memphis. He and his wife adopted me when I was just under a year old in Washington. He had lots of stories to tell about his growing up in Tennessee way back when!

We've been getting cloudy skies here now each morning but sun still shows up after noon...........still loving it and will be 76F today or higher :banana:

Weather today is just perfect at 75 degrees, for garden tour with my mom, just now .......

After an overcast and cool day yesterday, it's nice and 74 today. Was out and around downtown to have brunch with my nephew and Mom, just really nice out!

75F and overcast. Periods of rain. Very humid Humidity 76% at 7pm. I had to catch 3 koi for a lady and the humidity just about made me jump in.lol

Well Memphis is at the other end of the state but the Tennessee tall tales are state wide! The stories we can tell!!

GG, I see my humidity is only 76% right now, too ... but heading up to 100% in the next couple of hours for nighttime HIGH humidity! Was really nice today, mid 80's and cloudy, so no worries of sunburn at cousin's pool with my son, daughter and brother, 2 of which were from out of state. Loving it!

Yes I like that chair swing. Sweet!! Just needs a little bear in it! We had Bday party today at my sisters house. Most kids got into pool when it wasn't thundering. All looked like prunes when they finally got out. Ages 5-15. Mine is the 15yr old. She came home and went to sleep. Wore out!!
