What is your weather like ... today

Several days of below average temps for us here in the central part of Illinois. It is nice! Love the cool mornings and the mild days. Better enjoy While i can hot days are right around the corner again.

Gotta get off this computer and vacuum my house. Then hoping the shampooer gets returned by noon so I can rent it and have all the carpets shampooed so I can fog the house tomorrow while I'm gone horseback riding. Nice weather will allow me to open the windows up to air it out when I get home, then probably turn the AC back on, if hot temps are coming. But, once I fog the house (dogs have been struggling with fleas, even though I've used Frontline Plus, now Advantage and Trifectis ...) I want to close the windows so no bugs have a chance to get back inside, other than what are on the dogs when they come in and out. Daughter coming next weekend, and then my sister and her family in a month! I don't notice any flea bites myself, but want to make sure they are gone and dead!

Country flees are bad everywhere. We are struggling with them as well. Dont matter what you use they are thick this year. Between our dogs and cat it is a constant battle!

Sun back here now in the mornings! Nice day to move my sis to her new home. Should get in the 70's,not too hot and not too cold.
Got our driveway to the shop done but guy ran into a post out by the shop that holds the corner of our lean to roof up. Cracked it good so now he has to replace that large post. Don't want the roof to fall down!

Nice day today, cooler now at around 70 degrees with a light breeze and blue skies. Puppies were taken for walks, and resting nice in house. The mosquitos seem to be less today, but still are bad from what I usually see around here normally. The puppy dogs seem to know this, and do not go outside much except to do theirbusiness, or for a walk.

CE Flea's will always be around, and when my dogs get them I just give them a medicated shampoo to stop the itch, and comb them out with a fine tooth comb when necessary. They don't hang around long as the house spiders eat them fast. Spiders can be good, cause they eat lots of bugs, but there are some spiders that freak me out so I catch them and release them outside if I see them.... :spider:

Because of this Forum, I have learned a new respect for most spiders. Now, when I see a wolf spider in the house, I catch it and take it outside. The other day, a wolf spider was trying to come inside. I was in the garage, getting ready to go into the house, and he hustled to the door! I shooed him away, and stepped up to open the door, he was back. Told him he better get back, or I would smoosh him! He got the idea and ran away. LOL I do NOT like them in my house, they are too big. I do love the garden spiders, black and yellow striped. I am hoping another one takes up residence near my pond again this year.

Beautiful day. lots of sunshine and humidity is not too bad at this time. Maybe some pop up showers later this evening.

I saw you were from Tennessee just now and had an order coming southeastern freight lines from there and guy for some reason went to Greensboro NC and company is trying to figure it all out as of now order is still there on the truck and he is having problems with the trailer now (he says ).I wonder if it is he just has a girlfriend there and is making a so called pit stop :cheerful: oh well hope he is enjoying it any ways Waiting for a phone call or a e-mail ,being nice about it or trying too

I will keep my eyes open for any trucks on the side if interstate. lol I hope your order gets delivered some time soon. It is gonna be hot here for the next few days and I would think people would be in the aircondition cars or houses.

Very nice and will be a nice 74F. No rain in the near future predicted. Love being able to say this every day! Need to get out and smooth some dirt and grass clods around along the lawn roadside today. It will take awhile to do this but it sure will be easier to mow w/ the valleys covered even tho I still don't have my riding mower fixed or replaced. Still waiting for parts to see if hubby can fix it. He's having to mow everything w/ his big mower but it's working pretty good even going around my flower beds.

get a new one I would not know what to do without my mower it is a real work horse .Still have heard nothing .still waiting for my delivery and hoping maybe tomorrow .HOPING

Warm and 77 now but feels hotter when working. Worked all day on the dirt project and just came in to collapse. Hosed myself off from being covered w/ dirt. Too tired right now to shower even. Should have eaten more than two spoonfuls of yogurt but wasn't hungry right before I started. Whew :faint:

Temps here have been In the 80's but by Wednesday its suppose to hit the low 90's and stay that way until Saturday. Then back into the 80's . Really nice day today, had a nice breeze and it was very relaxing to sit in the shade and rest after working on the pond. Changed some water and netted some of the crude off the bottom of the pond.
