What is your weather like ... today

We got a suprise last night at 11:25 very strong winds and heavy rain. Ripped guttering off and shreaded a lot of limbs from our trees. Power also went out and did not come back on till after 3:00 am. A couple of roofs down the road were torn off and a small pick up was on its side. made for a long night. Cant complain others are far worse than what we got. It just broke my heart when i saw pictures of those kids being removed from the devistation and debris. Our family is thinking about the oklahomans.

icsd glad you are ok but keep a watch out and all the rest of you in the way of the storms please be careful and get to safety quickly at the first sign of danger! Don't take any chances.

Steady rain here all day but that's ok cuz I've been cleaning my house all day getting ready for my sister to come up here this weekend so she can look for a place to live.

Ok... 23*C today with a humidex of 32* ... Started sunny, but we got a piece of the cold front that created the Moore OK tornado. Some heavy thunderstorms here this afternoon / evening with a possible tornado in the Orangeville area. No damage here. Just heavy rain with some intense lightning. Our toads seem to be happy though as they're singing up a storm tonight, and not the "thunder" kind either

Very windy tonight, supposed to only be in the 70's for a few days. It's crazy all over the place!
Well, whatever the weather decides to be...I'm going to be down under it for awhile. I'm left hand one finger typing right now, cause last monday I fell and popped my wrist right off both my arm bones. My whole hand had shifted about an inch back behind my arm. Went to emergency by way of ambulance, had them reset it, but it didn't keep. Went to see my doctor yesterday and learned one of the bones became unaligned. Hand is still very swollen and I've lost feeling in thumb and forefinger. He says possible nerve damage and I'm scheduled for surgery tomorrow at noon. He's going to cut the Carpul Tunnel, in hope of restoring some feeling and repair the damabge. I hope it works, I am right handed. I have advanded bone disease, and after going through the healing process of four limbs in less than four years...It's time I start paying better attention and being more carefull, not carefree.
I'll be back in a few weeks. In the meantime, I hope all the bad weather passes all of you by.

Thank goodness the storms passed through without too much damage [a few houses and a truck hit with trees], though some are without power. It's 66 here now, and overcast.
