Thanks for the fairy dust JW!! I am feeling a little better so I went out front and applied the corn glutton at midnight, now it is 320 am in the morning, still wide awake cause I slept all darn day, now I hear the rain falling softly outside, supposed to get rain for two days. Going back to bed now....

I see we got a little rain overnight, supposed to rain this May long weekend, so far it is not too back. you guys in the states, is your May long weekend next week?

Yeppers Collen we have the long Memorial Day week end coming up next weekend. We are wet here also but right now rain has stopped. Wondering if we will get out there today to cut up more pecker poles? Rain might stop us. Glad you are feeling better :blueflower:

If we go outside right now it's likely we'd end up in Cincinnati! That's how hard the wind is blowing.

Today the wafer thin apple tree blossons began to fall, and it looked like pink snow on the ground! The apple trees were just loaded full of blossoms this year and the yard just smelled heavenly! Then black clouds rolled in this afternoon, and the skies grew dark. This is what my front yard looked like just before the rain fell .... thundering lightly right now, must tend to Poppy and give comfort, as she is scared of storm.

Today and tomorrow are supposed to be cool which would be good but I am still drying out the big pond. Yesterday I removed the mostly dried up crud from the shallowest 1/5 of the pond. The stuff is a lot easier to move without all the water. I carted it off to the compost heap using go-puts and the little wagon.

Pouring for hours, unreal hard rain, if we were home they would be all over the news about floods, here they just ignore....................Thunder and lightening, supposed to keep going on until tomorrow night.

Hubby and favorite handy and helpful nefew came down this weekend for a visit. Together they cleaned up out back and hubby rototilled with this old but still running good rototiller, that we got early this spring for only 50 Canadian bucks!

Weather was nice and in the mid 70's all day and we all had a very Happy Victoria day this long weekend!

Next weekend hopefully I get that old fence done!

been watching it since yesterday and 2 schools and so far 20 children died .What a shame and they are still searching .They have been searching all night ith heat seeking devices and dogs ,how horrible

Humid, sunny, and breezy at the moment. Anxious about the storms that might be headed our way. Just finished picking up some stuff from the yard (tools, etc).
