Snow storm here today. Can't even see down the driveway.
Ryan, it's likely working on growing new roots. Be patient, it will be fine. Pull any string algae that is close and easily accessible. Water temp is great for the lilies. They were "shocked" being put in new clay, etc. Be sure as Colleen said that the top of the lily is exposed. But, it just takes time sometimes.brandonsdad02 said:The leafs are still there from when I repotted but I figured the stems should be growing by now.
Sissy, I live in the country, too. Yes, there are no leash laws, but that does NOT mean my dogs can run rampant in the neighbor's yard and cause problems. There are only 3 houses on the 1.5 mile road I live on. The one neighbor has a Jack Russell, who stays in their yard. My dogs go over and visit with Dot, and they are fine with that. They have no garden, no flowers, nothing, so nothing to get into. The house past me is for sale. I just pray the new owners, when it sells, will like dogs, and not hassle me about mine. If they do, they have every right to tell me to keep them in my yard, and I will do just that! I respect other people's wishes. I would not want their dog coming over and digging up all my flowers, after all, if they came with a new pup or something that likes to dig! It's only fair!!! Good luck with your fantail. It sure is a beautiful fish!!! I'm catching up on this thread, so hoping all is still ok with the fish.sissy said:They are Mexican and always claim they don't speak english .That's there claim .Dog warden warned them I have the right to sue them now and maybe that will scare them ,but doubt it .They are in debt and have not payed there taxes in 2 years and even tried to send the credit card bills to my house .They owe sears ,lowes ,home depot and boscovs and I had to call all of them and tell them they have the wrong address listed .The only good thing is they are not noisy neighbors and when they have people over they stay on the other side of the house .The dogs are the biggest problem .Here they have no leash laws but if your dogs disturb or cause problems in the neighborhood then they get warnings .We are in farm country so dogs on farms run loose but they are on farms and these are private homeowners and there should be another set of rules for those type dogs .I fenced a small section of my yard and it is not expensive to do chain link .
That's why they are not married!!! She shows no income, and lies about him living in the household with her! Call your County and report them, see if that doesn't change things for them. In IL, you have to report the total household income. Probably she has a PO Box for her address, not where she actually lives. Yep, I'd report them. We see it all the time. We tell them they have to ask for Child support, and they say, "but we live together". I see they are getting State Aid, and ask about that? Oh, she has a different address than him. Yep, happens all the time. They are working the system, and I'm not prejudice, but Mexicans have learned how to do that very well. You said they bought a $175K house? They probably got some type of State grant to purchase it, and they will lose it once that grant runs out. Sad country we live in for sure!sissy said:yep one of those want the world but can't afford it .They have 3 kids and he has 3 kids by another women that my sister in law knows .They are not married and not sure how they managed to buy a 175 thousand dollar house .I only buy what I can afford and not sure how she gets food stamps either .The mail lady put something in my mail box for her about them .I guess it was her new card .I have to tell the mail lady all the time about this ,she is always on her cell phone .
