What is your weather like ... today

Starting to worry about my water lilies. I repotted them a few weeks ago, put them in pure clay kitty litter with osmocote on covering the bottom of them pot and put down in the pond. They haven't shown any new signs of growth. Water temp is about 65 right now. Only thing that is growing is the string algae. Starting wonder what's going on.

You don't have even one small green leaf poking out yet? Maybe you forgot to leave the crown exposed and planted too deep?
We are having a cooler day, going to only 52 degrees today and 26 degrees overnight. I will have to out the plants back into the greenhouse later today....

NOT SURE WHAT TO DO My poor fantail fish is going to die i GUESS .if I had it in me I would kill the dog next door .

What happened Sissy!! Did the neighbor dog get into the pond? I would be very mad and fit to be tied!!

he just got my fish when I caught him.No injuries and eyes are clear and he still swims into my hand

I caught the dog just as he grabbed the fish and flipped it into the air

The leafs are still there from when I repotted but I figured the stems should be growing by now.

Ryan, Maybe you should raise the Lilly closer to the water surface, I do this and the shallow water heats up quicker and then they will grow faster....

I put him in the tank with a pump and some solar salt and tried to rub his belly to see if he could get more oxygen but not sure what else to do

Is he is breathing? If so just let him rest now as he is most likely still very tramatized from the whole event!

he is breathing and just wanted to rest in my hand so he was upright I guess .He lays upside down when he just lays there

I would squeese the juice of the aloe Vera plant into the water of a small bowl and let him soak in that rather than the salt. I hsve never had any luck with salt baths.... the salt may sting the fresh wound.

I hope he does not have any internal injuries, look for signs of swelling or or bruising or change in the skin color...
