Was really really nice today, almost 60! The sun felt so darn hot and everything was very bright! The fish even noticed the temperature difference as the last couple nights have been warmer, so they were out and about exploring the pond for the first time this year! I think I even got a tan on my face these last couple days!! :)

Yep, Colleen, these first sunny warmer days of spring will sure get some color to your face. I got some sun on my cheeks and nose last Sat. when I went gathering those rocks. It was so nice that day, mid 50's, and sunny. Have to be careful, as I burn very easily on my face, always put on high SPF sunscreen on face. Going to be outside all weekend this weekend, they are teasing us with high 50's or low 60's. Thanks for sharing your warm temps!!!! I'm loving it .... Maybe I'll even see or hear some frogs ... or spiders ... this weekend. :sun_smiley: :spider: :blueflower: :claphands: :fingersx:

Peeked out the window this early Good Friday morning, and the fish were STILL out and about, swimming all over every inch of the pond. Last night never got below freezing, so it should turn out to be a very Good Friday indeed! It is fitting that the fish first woke out of there deep winter slumber yesterday, as the extra lovely Vegan sister and Mom coming for supper today. I am making a special raspberry pecan salad for us and a sweet potato with baked apple cinnamon dish as well. Cooking a big turkey too, and my favorite nefew coming also. Going to cram lots of extra lovely family in this small house, hopefully it turns out to be a good Friday cause it is my only day off so the extra lovely family better not fight!

Am I gonna get in trouble for using too many likes?
We have had just several delightful warm days here and the frogs, yes I said frogs............we have more now..........are just chirping away all day and night too! Love it! Not so fun thing to do today tho. Hubby wants me to help him w/ the new wood shed roof. Some kind of gooey black stuff he needs to use and he told me I better put my hair in a tail and stuff it in a hat and wear some clothes I don't ever want to see again! Doesn't sound good to me at all! So sunny and nice and have to do this yucky stuff :grumble:

Not going to get in trouble for using too many likes, JW, cause they gave us a bunch! It was gorgeous here today, and supposed to be equally beautiful, even warmer and sunnier tomorrow and Sunday. Happy Good Friday everyone. My fish were all swimming around, too. Going to hook up the waterfall again tomorrow, but first going to figure out how to relocate the water line so it is over liner all the way, no worries ever again of it breaking and emptying the pond ... unless it spews the water, I guess. Koi and goldfish all were out, missing seeing my largest fantail. It has been AWOL the last 2 days, so will watch for her tomorrow. My guess is she is under the garages in the goldfish pond, as I saw her just a week or so ago, not worried, just anxious to see her! All others are doing great, females are heavy with eggs already, so can't imagine what they will be like when the water gets warm enough for them to spawn!

Ok I'm safe on the likes........wonder if any of us will ever run out? If it was me I wouldn't say anything tho as that would be embarrassing
Sun is out in full glory right now and not a cloud in the sky. Expecting mid to upper 60's and tomorrow even warmer. As old Mr Roger's used to say: It's a beautiful day in the neighborhood!

Great day here today. Got to the mid 60's and sunny. Unfortunately I had to work all day. But I am sure the fish enjoyed the weather, they seem to be much more active when I was just out there. The pond temp is also at 55 and clear as can be!!!

What I thought was going to be a beautiful day turned into a cloudy windy and chilly day, even though it was up to 55 degrees. They are saying rain tonight and tomorrow, but I'm hoping they are wrong on that. Glad to see and hear others had sunshine today, though! A glass of wine is helping me feel "brighter" this evening.
