ICSD, for being only about 40 miles north of me, you sure got a bunch more snow! Is your pond under the snow in either picture? My trees never did get any build up of snow on them. Maybe because I'm in the wide open, it all got blown off, I'm not sure. But I heard that Springfield got 18", and that's just maybe 90 miles north. What a mess it made. Bet you had a great time in your 4WD. Snow plows in our township got stuck twice. Very hard to plow when the roads are crowned, the west stuff was underneath, and the ground on the edge of the roads was mud and soft. But, the crews did a great job. I'll have to get my butt to work tomorrow. :)

Low tonight of 28, tomorrow expecting a high of 51 and by Saturday a high of 62. Sunday is also suppose to be 62. Bottom of the pond has only been 41 to 42F. If the temp of the bottom of the pond starts to raise more with the warmer weather I'll be changing water in my pond and starting up the pump by Sunday. :)

I just went through two pages of posting on this thread and geeezz, I can't get the toaster mouse out of my head! Actually, it is a terrible reminder of the, one time, gargage disposal mouse I had. Did you get a new toaster CE? I had to get a new disposal...because I had to, not because I chose to :zap:

Anyways, love that pic with the snow flash reflections...kind looks like stars in the background.

LOL P42S, yes, I promptly tossed that toaster, have a new one right away. Now the saga continues, though, darn it! Woke up an hour early this morning, heard some type of bumping sound. Thought of a mouse, so opened my phone to see if I could catch him in the act. Nothing. Laid there, could not get to sleep, thinking of what that sound was. Then it hit me .... turned on the light and sure enough, he was in the garbage can right next to the head of my bed, jumping up and down trying to get out!!! Yep, that sucker got tossed outside, found him dead later when I went out to feed the horses. Guess one of my outside dogs found him before he found his way back to the house. Good! Now, today I will be bringing home mass amounts of glue traps. I just HATE the regular traps, they scare me. Or, I will check out what other types they have. I've already planned all the places I can place them where the cat cannot get to them during the day. We shall start counting dead mice tonight, and I sure hope there are only a few .... Good thing I'm not spastic about mice! I actually think they are quite cute, just don't want them in my house, since they are not potty trained, and I don't want the smell, or destruction. LOL

Oh, and it's going to be high 30's today, 45 tomorrow, then 50's and raising in temps steadily through Sat! However, Easter Sunday right now looks like 30% chance of rain, which is not a good thing .... 7 Sundays of rain they say if rains on Easter.

One Christmas I made a Gingerbread house on the Kitchen table late one snowy evening and I thought I had seen something dart across the kitchen floor, but thought my mind was playing tricks on me. I left the Gingerbread house on the table overnight to dry and the next morning somebody had chewed on the roof candy!! Darn mice must be able to fly cause I don't know how he got up on the table!! Later that month I started to see lot's of things moving out of the corner of my eye and one day I opened the drawer in the bathroom and out popped another mouse! I now get many finger snap traps and set them out each fall with cheese and "snap" them mice all up in the basement before they get upstairs! :

Last night in the greenhouse, I peeked in and saw that the garden fairies where moving about and getting there houses all ready for spring! Earlier I even managed to snap a fairy sitting by a little miniature pool in a little miniature garden! :)

My 4 year old and i made a snow man yesterday. There is plenty of wet deep snow to make one with. Granted the snow man looks like he has some issues but it was fun for her and me! Sure was awesome and beautiful when everything was covered. But I have had my fill of snow so no more please! One thing I really hate is I was shoveling snow Sunday evening at the end of the drive for everyone’s low riding vehicles to get in and out of the drive when the city end loader with plow came along and shoved everything I removed plus triple that into my drive with me standing there! He didn’t even look at me! Use to be they would change direction of their blade and shove it out to the opposite side of the road. So I had to shovel way more than I needed to…. Oh well things change better get used to it.
