I think I heard tornadoes in Georgia. Anyone have family in that state, or know how things are going there?
Temps dropping all day today, slowly. Supposed to get down to 6 tonight. Yikes!!! Stay warm everyone! Warm front is coming in 2 days ... high 30's by weekend. Yippee!

Going to get bitterly cold tonight. Low of minus 10 tonight with very strong winds from the North west. Plugged in pond heater yesterday while taking a break from digging out and playing video games. Going to warm up this weekend. Getting the new ball valve and a piece of pvc tomorrow so I can get the bog up and running again. Going to use rubber couplings for now until I can fix it the right way in the spring. Need my grill by the pond so I can warm up the pvc and bend it the way I want without using very many fittings. I think you loose less head pressure from friction loss.

I use a lot of the rubber couplings, makes it real easy to pull the pump for the winter and drain lines.

Well 70 on wednesday, howling wind yesterday, most of the day the wind was in the 30-40 mph range, now snowing. and 27

Currently 37, I can hear the snow melting off the roof. One more work day then it's the weekend. Yahoo!

I'm not sure what my temp is, so going to look after I post. Yesterday, both ponds totally thawed out, this morning, koi pond totally froze over, bog and waterfall froze and not running. Darn! Goldfish pond has everything going great, stream and bog. Had to put heater on each pond, warmer temps this weekend, so all should be thawed out again by Sunday, and ready for the high 40 temps next week. See saw .... see saw ...
Well, it says 8, so probably was a little colder before the beautiful sun came out to warm things up.

Woke up to 4 degrees and some wind that put it under 0 degrees F. You sure could feel it on your face! Thats when the vehicle cranks over slow and the power stearing whines. Dont want any more of that!

We are wind chilling down to 10-15 f it is cold. Actual temp 24 right now. Two days ago 70...................

Got my walking and my weeding done. Now tomorrow if sun comes back I can play all day in it again! Fish were all up in the top part of pond too enjoying the warmth. They looked at me w/ longingly feed me eyes but I held strong and resisted the temptation
