Yes it is cold, currently freezing cold at minus 2 Fahrenheit. Poppy said she was not going outside to make "Pee-cycles" unless she really really has to! Puppies have plans to stay inside all night couching it with their "tails over their nose"!

It's currently 62 here at 7:30 p.m.!!! Unbelievable temps, although 29 years ago the week of February 13, I remember having hospital windows open the week I have my son. Had a fever they were trying to break, it was 60's then, too. But, 60's in January is pretty unusual. Going to drop in temps tomorrow, after warm WINDY night tonight, supposed to be 32 and snowing by 5 tomorrow afternoon. Not much rain at all today, but can hear the thunder in the distance, so it's on the way. All pumps are up and running.
Colleen, that's COLD!!! It's not common for us to get temps close to zero at all, and when it does, it doesn't last very long usually. Knock on wood! It's very windy outside, I think the horses were walking around chasing their hay being blown by the wind. LOL

Its 23 F, tomorrow day time temps start warming up some. Glad we aren't having below 0 temps in fact we haven't had any minus temps at all this winter so far. :claphands: Keeping my fingers crossed that we don't. :fingersx:

It's 50 here, so temps have started falling for the day. Power went out at about 10 last night, came back on at 3. Recording at the electric company when I finally called it in on their automated line at midnight, thinking maybe it was just our area, said it was at a sub station about 10 miles from me! Sounds to me like there were a LOT of people out of power. Well, a lot for my small remote area. LOL Must have been bad, with power out for 5 hours. I think when the ice storm hit 2 years ago, lines down, etc., power was only out for about 7 hours that time. Pond is overflowing this morning. Don't have rain gauge out anymore, didn't want it to freeze and break, so can only guess I got over inch of rain.
Oooooo ... sun just came out. How pretty!!! :razz:

Holy cow, just looked at the forecast for me. Looks like my waterfall and stream are going to get tested really fast once again. Grrr .... dropping temps all day, getting down to 22 tonight. No problem. Tomorrow, however, temps are supposed to be 31 for a high and 6 for a low. Bummer! Fri. shows ... get this ... 23 for high and 23 for low! I don't think I've EVER seen a forecast like that. Wonder if that's a mistake! But, warmer temps back up to mid 40 and 31 for high/low on weekend. Woohoo!! I'm crossing my fingers the waterfall does not freeze this time. Not worried about stream, it did fine last time. Will put a heater in both ponds tomorrow to help keep the temps up.
