Yep, my daughter talked about meeting a bunch of girls in a chat room on a dating site for western type of people. A bunch of them got together in Texas, probably at a big rodeo, and met each other, had a super time. I just think that sounds like a load of fun. I know that I will have to go visit my brother and sister in law in Seattle soon, cause then I'll stop by and meet JW and her hubby! Found out they live pretty close, maybe 30 miles from each other!!! And, I've always wanted to go to the east coast. Would be a fun trip on a Harley, visit all my east coast ponders in that trip. LOL
Hey, I'm heading to Newburgh, IN in 3 weeks, help my cousin paint in their house that weekend. Who is it that lives in that area? Someone building a bog last fall! I could stop by and say hello that weekend. LOL See, if we just plan things it could happen .....

So I made potential room for another tank, here you see I moved the one ten gallon in the window between the front porch and bedroom window. That way I can see it from both sides! The other tank is the old 29 gallon long with the upsidedown catfish and wild guppies, and that sits on a very old dresser in the bedroom.

WHITE STUFF falling! 15 degrees, 10 wind chill..............

Hubby got home at 10:30 last night and
said they were calling for 1" of snow by Friday night. No problem- Woke up to the sound of snowplows! 3" so far and still coming down with 18 for the temp. I should have known- our wedding anniversary is Saturday. We had an ice storm on our wedding day and everytime we have made plans we have had a big snow storm.
We made reservations for our 20th to go to western Md. to play in the snow as we don't usually get much snow. Woke up to 24" and had to be plowed out. We did get to the hotel and they had actually closed! They did let us stay but we had had enough snow so went shopping indoors-

We didn't get as much, southern maryland won the snow lottery this time. Another storm coming tomorrow, wetter = more snow. We might get more with that storm.

Hubby is shoveling out the vehicles. We have a steep driveway and don't use it when there is snow. Both cars in the driveway and he has a Dr. appt. and I have to get to the pharmacy. Will park the cars uptop when we get back and cancel dinner plans out for Sat.

Good thing I am way up here in Canada, weather forcasting nice next four days with temperatures above freezing during the day! Ya-Hoo! Supposed to get to 31 F today and 38 F tomorrow! Thank you my old Chinook friend, for melting the cold away! My hubby was up at 6 am this moring while I was still sleeping (day off) (played with fish tanks all night again!) And hubby told me big wind was blowing hard and there was sudden warmer temperatures. Looks like today will be a good day to get outside and get some stuff done around pond.

Spring is coming here soon, that Fat Ground Hog will be poking out very soon and he better confirm an early spring if he know's "what's good for him! He he .... or eLse he may have my Fat Poppy come looking for him! Ha ha. One more month and it will be all over for Old Man Winter! I can feel the warm sun today!

I tried to figure it out but it is coming down from the bridge and no water on the bridge and it is not even wet there so have no clue ,it is just stuck to the bridge and not even touching the water except when the pump hose pumps water at it ..I will rip the ground hog out of his hole and beat him up ,call animal cruelty ,I'm a coming to get him . :razz:

Can you belive it, about 77 today. Cold weather again on its way.
