My tree is sooo darn smelly, could smell the scent of fresh balsam drifting in from the front porch where it is all nice and lit up. will get pictues later, hubby home and sore, and I got to run to work for a few hours. Nice and warm here this morning, unplugged the pond heater.

we got just around 11.5 inches of snow from this blizzard. I got up extra early to get ready for work and to get the snow all off the jeep. I made it 4 miles before I was stopped by a state trooper. The highway was closed, they had a snow plow in the ditch and one stuck right behind it. When snow plows are getting stuck, its time for me to go back home. I did get new tires on the Jeep last night and glad I did. They were super swamped but got it done as fast as they could. We had thunder snow last night and I loved it. Haven't had one of those storms in years. The pond is still doing great. I wasn't sure how it would be with a foot of snow but no ice on the pond first. About half slushed over.

Burrrrrrrrrr bet he went home and snuggled down to enjoy the snow. That is what I would have done, hot drink feet up and watch it snow.

Awesome on the thunder snow. Takes one hell of a snow storm to produce that. It is blowing very hard and snowing here. Currently 31 degrees and i am not sure the wind chill. We are not going to get as much as the northern states. Everyone be careful!

The interstates are closed pretty much all across the state. 25 car pile up killed 2 so far. About 51,000 currently without power. Ours has been flickering all day but so far it's been staying on. Now the winds are blowing steady at 25-30.

Well lets hope the power stays on Brandonsdad2! The thought of the power going off up here in Canada scares the cr#p out of me!

Weather was really nice today, sun was bright and blinding, as it shone right in my eye this afternoon, half hour before sundown. Now its getting cold again, and a northern breeze was biting my fingers, I snaps a couple shots half hour before sunset, on this the second last day of planet earth?? Everyone was making jokes at work today, nobody appeared in any panic, as I observed the crowds close at the supermarket today. Did not notice anyone stocking up on gas, people waited patiently as I stood in a long line for the "self checkout". At work today, we each got card and a bottle, which I thought at first was some nice coffee liqueur, but turned out to be "salad dressing???" From boses at work, geez, wonder what they were smokin...... ha ha ha.... it's a bottle of Italian salad dressing (no kidding!) from the "Olive Garden" all the way from Calgary??
It was very nice of them, to encourage us to loose weight??? Then have us bake off and pack a full rack of nice fresh hot cheese buns, followed by hot, just out of the oven sticky cinnamon rolls!!! No wonder we got SaLaD dressing! Ha ha ha. I guess it's the thought that count....:)
