Low 20's here but that wonderful sun is out in full force again!
Will have to really bundle up today for my walk.
Might get some snow in a day or two

just finished another, last? cold snap. -10 to -16 C. for a few days. Now we have a heavy snowfall warning for next two days. Winters Last Gasp???? I count myself fortunate compared to some of the challenges some of you faced and are still facing.
I spotted my lone comet in the stock tank for the first time in a month. He slithered out of his fish cave to sit under the sinking de-icer. He looks a little skinny but still alive and breathing. Hang in there baby!!!! Spring is a comin!!!

it's the cause that's debatable

Nature is not about starting on March one the temp is this, precipitation is that. I remember well Way Back to 1978 and a blizzard we had on April fools. Well that was no joke very heavy snow and four feet of it. My family and neighbors were all snowed in for a week. This has been a mild winter for sure but she's not done we are looking at a foot or more this week.

Point is Mother Nature will do what she wants when she wants. Unfortunately disasters happen. It's the Man made ones that bother me.

Would you like some of my snow? We got about a foot and a half over the past 24 hours and it's still coming down. Had to shovel out my pond. Good thing it is light and fluffy.

High 70's and sunny. I've scooped enough snow in my time to just enjoy the pictures!

Snow blower is at the ready but hasn't moved all season. not complaining now but i probably will be come July

Our trees, bushes, etc are budding out, leaves growing right now. If we get a hard freeze all will die, the buds leaves and they will start over again.
