80 F all over the news COLD FRONT COMING down to 60ish

Had a lot of rain last week, has been in the high 50s to low 60s this week, but colder weather is in the forecast.

Chilly, down to 13 this morning, but up in the mid 50s in the afternoon. There's ice over most of the pond now, except in front of the waterfall.

Had some hail this morning, in the 30's, now 35 and rising w/light rain. Will be lucky to make it to mid 40's.

Snowed all morning and it keeps on coming! I love the first snow, so clean, so peaceful

Got down to 22f right before dawn, now 28f at almost 9am w/bright sunshine. Frost over everything!
Good thing I got some Parrots Feather potted and underwater yesterday!

So while I was away, my step dad over in Arkansas had what they thought was a heart attack, now he’s in the hospital, they are doing a heart cath today. He’s diabetic, he hasn’t been eating right, or taking his meds right cause he’s been taking care of his brother who is selfish and a drama queen, so he’s been giving up his doctor visits to his brother, so his kidneys are jacked too. Last night my mom got a call from my aunt in law, saying they’d put him in a coma, were about to do surgery on his heart, kidney, and liver. She panicked, so before I got my gear unloaded from the car to take her to the hospital, I called the hospital and got the correct info. They sedated him, intimidated him, he’s now diagnosed with copd, and they are just going to cath him to see what’s causing the problems, then do dialysis to clean his blood cause his kidneys aren’t working right.
Thank god, it is icy out that way, and the sky decided to snow on us here. I didn’t have to drive last night, and today I get to tend critters, I’m going to clean house a bit, and just relax!

@JamieB well glad at least that it's not as bad for your step dad as was portrayed to you by your aunt. Hope they can get him into good shape soon so he can get home again. Glad you can stay home and off those icy roads.
