Anyone else here own a home weather station? This used to be on our old house before we moved. Since I doubt our apartment would let me install it on the roof I'm running it at a friend's house.

Thanks, I wish we had your tropical Alberta weather. We will go from plus 45c with humidex two days ago to minus 45c pretty common in winter as you probably know. The construction trade now going down to 8 feet for frost line and we used to go 4 or 6 for heaving. Not sure a 4 foot deep pond is enough to over winter koi in my future well see.

It depends. If your pond is located close to neighbouring basements, protected from the elements and it's small enough that you can cover it, it might be ok.
Otherwise, I would bring the fish in.

Currently it's about 16x8 and I have two galv post green houses that I can build over it as they are 10x10 each. But in the near future going to 20x36 and already planning the garage tank set ups for winter. I tried a hot tub one winter and it's too much worry almost like letting your dogs out too long. I had a pug and she would just stop like a statue at minus 30c I swear she would just tip over if I did not go out and get her.

Autumn is coming! Instead of April raging, looks like we will get August rains this year. Waiting to see if I’ll get flooded in. It’s supposed to rain heavy today, but the suns out, so maybe my weather app is like politics, only half correct, kinda sorta! We need the rain, and temps under 90.

It's smoking here and 69f. The smoke should disappear tonight getting pushed away by the Pacific breezes. Hope so!
We were told not to exercise or go outdoors..................so I went for a ride on my bike
