Just had a torrential downpour come crashing down on us. Now thunder and more pouring rain! Feels good seeing it water everything and yay now I don't have to!

I smelled the smoke here yesterday but today w/all our rain it smells all fresh and clean now. Next few days it will start to dry out and get hot again so I suppose the smoke will return.

Damp but drying out by this afternoon. High around 74 today. Only 61 right now and it feels good. No sweating today!

Warm mostly cloudy and humid. We've had quite a bit of rain over the past few days.

Anyone else here own a home weather station? This used to be on our old house before we moved. Since I doubt our apartment would let me install it on the roof I'm running it at a friend's house.

I have had one for years. Like 30ish if not more years. They have gotten better over time.

My main one is a Davis weather station, here at home. I also have La Crosse stations that we use at the rv, rental in Florida etc.

The one at my friend's house is a modified Davis Vantage Pro2+. A couple years ago Davis had a 3rd party anemometer interface and I bought that and added a custom wind setup. I miss having the weather station with me but it's better where it's at than being stuck in a box.
