We are still getting heavy rain, hail, lightening, tornado warnings, the storms are slow moving............and it will last until Thursday.

We are under severe flash flood/flood warnings until Thursday.

A huge tree fell on a house and killed the home owner, the wife, missed the husband. We have no huge trees near our house, the few we have near, would just barely touch the house if they fell.

And getting sink holes in roads, and road washouts.

The low pressure to the west is sucking up the moisture from the south. It is coming up in a non stopping stream of rain.

But we are now in the mid 70's for temperatures rather than the 90's

Rain....rain.... I've heard of it...dont remember seeing it though

:D

That's a shame addy. With all the work you have put into it, hopefully it will work out. Ya, not a good week for the beach!
They backed out, the neighbor next door, a bit mental, trashed the neighborhood, trashed the alley, did enough whining they dropped the contract. She was trying to open a door 4 doors from hers a while back, totally confused, lived there 40 years, we told her son, she got mad at us, so now we are on her s*** list.

Oh well. Nothing we can do about it.

oh and raining again, just got a hard dump

Still hot here at 80. Everything is drying up faster than I can water it! Sandy soil so it takes a lot. The mulch really helps keep it moist tho. Thank you to that!

It’s 97 here and for once, a low humidity day! Most of my watering is concentrated on the turtle habitat. They have lots of shade, hides, and places to dig, but I took my temp. gun out last week and spot-checked around in the habitat. There were shaded places with a ground temp. in the 90’s!

Humid, so humid. It would drop ten drops of rain, and then nothing. Just a tease , did the same thing all day yesterday. Just rain or don't.

more rain for us next week also and it got hot outside fast .I got out at 6 am and only 2 more gardens to pull weeds from Dug up some of the phlox to transplant it .I want it growing in the other hill garden as it really helps keep the weeding down and it spreads fast

animals are going to miss that apple tree
They will but we have two more in the back and my neighbors have one, we don't harvest the apples, to much bug damage. Can't spray they are right next to the pond.
