The only good thing about the weather at this time of year is, whatever it is, we know it won't last!

Cool and damp, not quite rainy. I got a new job! Part time at a gas station, working for the lady who was my assistant manager over a year ago at a different store. Part time, but a steady paycheck. My previous boss tried to counter by saying if I got my cdl he could increase the percentage we got, but I don’t want to drive a semi! So I’ll sell gas instead. Company looks good, and once I’m trained, I might work up to full time.

@JBtheExplorer not much to recommend about our weather right now, that's for sure! Our annual Easter parade got cancelled this morning due to high winds and cold temperatures. Not what you hope for the day before Easter!

I keep telling myself every week that maybe next week will be nicer. I've been lying to myself for about a month now.

Well, maybe it'll be nicer next week.

What a gorgeous day today and bike ride was perfect. Just rode around the hood for a bit as my foot and diverticulitis can't take too much yet. It's a nice 55f out there and darn if the yellow jackets aren't flying around out there already!

They don't waste a minute, do they? I'm hoping that the bright side of this late cold spell will mean fewer pests - namely mosquitoes. Nothing like getting your first warm day and getting bit before you can even get the garden gloves on!
