Low 60s yesterday, 19 today. It’s low temps till middle of next week, when we will get another day or two above freezing, then low temps again.

haha! Where I am, when we say "south" we MEAN Chicago!"

Yep, I know ... those of you up by Chicago, you think "southern Illinois" is all of Illinois south of Chicago. Ugh! I went to SIU-C, and probably 80% of the students were from Chicago. LOL Guess it was the farthest away from home they could go, and still stay in state. And, living in Effingham, I don't feel like I'm in southern Illinois by any means. There is at least 1/3 of the State south of me! But, again ... to those in the farthest northern part of our State, if I lived in Kankakee, I think I would be considered in "southern Illinois". :)
No ice or freezing rain for me last night. Yay! Possible more of that same threat for tonight into tomorrow. Blah ... maybe I'll get lucky and get snow instead. But, I have Monday off (Lincoln's birthday - he was from IL, so I get a double hit this month - also get President's Day the following Monday - Woohoo!!!!!) so bring it on!!!

Raining, temps in the 50's. Pond slowly melting again

We are in a severe drought, need the rain. Very little snow has come down.

The older my body gets the less cold I can stand or is it because my body is not used to it anymore .Whatever I hate cold weather.Mitch they give you an AC button in your vehicle is that for when you miss the cold weather

We have heated leather seats which we use a lot but they don't cool.
I would think cooled seats are a good way to make yourself sick. It would be like sitting in a snow bank. No thanks.

They have temperature settings .But the heat feels great when your back hurts .The cooled seats are great when you go shopping and the seats get hot from sitting in 100 degree weather with the sun beating on your vehicle .I like the car I have with remote start and the automatic lift gate .Makes it nice for grocery shopping .No hassle fumbling with the key fob to get the doors unlocked and the lift gate open .A swish of your foot and it opens .The dealer did have to adjust the sensor for short person with small feet .Hands free phone and gps built in helps also

Looks like another 4"+ of snow outside. We've had snow for 8 straight days. I have NEVER had to clean off my driveway this many times in such a short span.

The good news is, the next two days don't appear to be snowy, and Wednesday may be rainy.
