Low 60s yesterday, 19 today. It’s low temps till middle of next week, when we will get another day or two above freezing, then low temps again.
haha! Where I am, when we say "south" we MEAN Chicago!"
Yep, I know ... those of you up by Chicago, you think "southern Illinois" is all of Illinois south of Chicago. Ugh! I went to SIU-C, and probably 80% of the students were from Chicago. LOL Guess it was the farthest away from home they could go, and still stay in state. And, living in Effingham, I don't feel like I'm in southern Illinois by any means. There is at least 1/3 of the State south of me! But, again ... to those in the farthest northern part of our State, if I lived in Kankakee, I think I would be considered in "southern Illinois".
No ice or freezing rain for me last night. Yay! Possible more of that same threat for tonight into tomorrow. Blah ... maybe I'll get lucky and get snow instead. But, I have Monday off (Lincoln's birthday - he was from IL, so I get a double hit this month - also get President's Day the following Monday - Woohoo!!!!!) so bring it on!!!
