What timer did you get, how much, and where? I’m looking at getting one!
I use a electronic sprinkler timer, lowes I think, no batteries to worry about, Set and forget. I do turn it off in the winter, no need for water to the pond.
I also drip water the planted pots on the deck, on the timer. Nothing else gets watered.

If the pump is running and you are not getting water in the house then air in the pipes and also do you have a pressure tank .65 degrees at 1 am and now down to 61 degrees

Have you made sure you have power to the well pump wires?
A basic voltmeter will help you with that. (If you have one or could borrow one)
It sounds like you have a 120v well pump, the 3 wire pumps are 240v.
If you're not comfortable around electricity though, find a friend who is. Checking you have power is a pretty basic task.

Your fishing line could have caught on a pitless adapter. That's the adapter that runs underground and attaches your house water line to the well casing. I'm assuming your house water line runs underground.
It’s 230, and the pitless is only about 5’ down, it was catching around the 20’ .

It's getting colder when it's supposed to be getting warmer!
Tomorrow we're supposed to be above freezing, life under the jet stream!
On the way to work this morning:

The well has sediment in it. Pump is good, pipe is good, but have to clean the well. Fml. The only service I know of in the area that does it, ticked my dad off big time. So now we will be looking for a DIY way to clean it out. I’m thinking same principle as the pool vacuum, but using air to push dirty water up the pipe till it runs clear.

We always have sediment, more after heavy rains, but always there. Filter with three filters. Love our well water.

After having almost no snow this winter and being in a drought, the snow we've gotten over the last week has us around 8" above average! There's a 5' pile of snow along my driveway. Not much more room for any more. Good thing we'll be seeing 30°F's and 40°F's this week!

Here's a thought ... if your well is 230' deep, and the problem may be that sediment has settled and the pump cannot pull that up through the pipe, can you possibly pull the pipe out some, so it's not down in the sediment? I'm assuming, of course, that you have a lot of water in that 230' depth .... It seems to me that this would be far easier, remove one section of pipe, than to try to get the sediment out. How in the world do you push dirty water up through the pipe with air, when the pump can't do it? Good luck!
Oh, and mid 40's today, going up to 60 by Thurs, and rain coming. Tomorrow supposed to rain in am, 50%, but Thurs. it's 100% rain all day, it looks like! I'm ok with the rain, hoping not for downpours, since the ground is currently still frozen. The frost will be working it's way out of the ground with these warm temps, but I hate to see heavy rains with the frost still in the ground, as it washes the top soil away. Also, I sowed pasture seed on my horse pasture, where they moved dirt around the pond last fall (cleaned out the pond), so hoping that seed does not all get washed away. Hoping today the top will thaw out, and those seeds will get stuck in the mud! :)

20-30 ft range, sorry, I it’s have had a typo. It’s shallow. Going to see if there’s a plumber that has one of those cameras they can run down there too see what’s wrong. If they can see if we have any sort of obstruction, or worst case, the water level is too low. We’ve been in drought, very little precipitation from fall into winter. Or the casing could have broke to let sediment in.

Plumber won’t be able to come out till Thursday. But temps will be in the 70s that day! And I found a handyman willing to be muscle for the many odd jobs we will have that need someone who can lift and move heavy stuff, dads shoulder is aching bad. He was told years ago there’s no joint left, it’s bone on bone, but the stubborn cuss won’t stop using it. Old cowboys!
