no kidding...been the coldest December I can remember in all my years. Hope January doesn't continue as it has SEEMED like January the past month. That said, looks like we'll be getting some January thaw, though a bit early. Still, better than what we've been getting...hope you have a stockpile of umbrellas, jw!

20 something now, and we still have all the snow and ice that came down last Wed. night. Lows near 0 at night. Very rare for us to have weather like this. And now we have no heat or hot water. But our gas fireplace is keeping us warm and a space heater too. Wish us luck in getting them fixed soon. At least we have electric.

Hoping every ones is doing better than I am with this cold weather .Cat got on my pond and while jumping off after I chased him he broke the power cord to my pond heater .The cold I guess made it snap ,it was a clean break .This morning was minus 2 degrees and got up to a balmy 26 degrees .My kitchen is not done yet after the water leak .Sub floor has been replaced and cabinets are still not done but getting there .Floor is fixed

cabinets done but not normal since I am doing it myself .I have to think of things to make it easy for me .Then I fell off the ladder picked myself up after poor pickles was scared half to death and worried about his mommy,but I live on .I am lucky I still have some of the backsplash to extend it over .My day has to get better but nope my truck will not start .Repair guy is going to take it to the shop after he goes to the doctor

I never went out to day to check pond. I may be able to check tomorrow if i get up in time. but temps were under 20F but this new deicer seems to be kicking a$$ to the point i am afraid of temp confusions for the fin friends.

Nice and toasty at 32-34 degrees today at work, still took an hour or so to get all the equipment running. It beats the alternative, working outside in the singe digits with wind blowing 30 mph.

42 degrees today and sunny a little melting going on in the pond .There is a very light rain outside right now .50 degrees for tomorrow

No rain, no sun, no nothing, just 51f and peaceful.

Everything covered with a ice layer. But heading up to 40ish today it will melt. The pond will take quite a bit of time.

If the predictions are right the next few days are looking good here, the ice and snow should all melt, I might be able to see my fish soon

@sissy you're doing a great job on those cabinets, can't wait to see it all done
