It spit a bit of snow, still spitting snow, won't be a layer but a pretty spit.................

-3 here. Opened the blinds this morning and this is how the pond looked. I put the backup de-icer in as I'm not sure if the first one is functioning.

looking forward to single digits overnight , .. 3 weeks days about freezing and nights in the teens
set my system over to freeze warning status on the last possible day .

Still cold cold cold here. I've been out twice in three days - once to fill the pond and once to put out all the trash from Christmas. Otherwise we are just staying put! We got our White Christmas, so that's enough of that for me! Let's just fast forward to spring!

Already up to 41 this morning and lots of rain on the way and wind tonight. Just what we need, a melt from the freeze, rain and wind to make the trees all fall down, yikes!

Going to minus 33 degrees tonight -28 Fahrenheit). Right now minus 28 Celsius. Extreme cold again tonight.

So I saw a FB post about the weather. Said something along the lines of not going out till the temps are higher than my age- and no, I won’t be going out any time soon if I can avoid it!

Been about 20F high and 5F low here in NJ for a few days. Weather expecting to stick a round for a while. Great for the local ski areas to make snow, but it's too cold for my family to go out there. Instead I'm in a cycling competition to see who can rack up the most hours riding for the winter months. Last year was so much easier this this time. Very cold out there, stay warm and safe everyone into the new year.

@callingcolleen1 this very cold winter is a very good test for all that you have done to keep your greenhouse and your ponds warm. Looks like you are winning!
